Hiya everyone, how are you? Continuing with anime, today we are gonna talk about a more recent anime known as Assassination Classroom.

My brother recommended this one to me and so I decided to give it a go. The anime is basically about a group of students who don't have the best academics at school and they are all grouped in a class with other students in the same situation. But here's the twist, their teacher is an octopus like creature called Koro-Sensei, who has a bunch of powers and also very intelligent.

Koro-Sensei aims to destroy the world within a year's time, unless the class can kill him. Yes you heard that right. The class is so they can assassinate him or he'll destroy the world. So the aim is to make the class top assassins to kill Koro-Sensei but at the same time it's used to increase their academics. 

The things is, he is unkillable. You can't kill him with any conventional weapons. Like guns, missiles, and the like. The government has already tried doing it themselves, so it's up to a bunch of kids to do the job. But under government supervision and all of this is kept underwraps from the public eye. Hence why the classroom teachings is there to hide its true purpose.

It's a really good anime actually. It's pretty goofy, despite its serious premise. The anime does a great job of showing all the students both their personalities and their skills. It also shows just how dedicated Koro-Sensei is to all his students by helping them in their academic shortcomings by going to great lenghts to help them.

It's very different from all the school setting anime out there. It also has science fiction elements too. Just be warned, it gets serious around halfway through the first season and is pretty serious on its second season.

I would say give it a go, it surprised me with all the twists and the likeable cast of characters. Oh and the ending is really sad, so just a heads up. It's definitely one of the best current airing anime out there.
