I Hate Metal Slimes

My current game is Dragon Quest 8 and Im doing some grinding. As with this series the best monster for leveling are the Metal slimes and oooh do I hate them. There not as bad as 7's with fleeing from the fight but they are still a pain in the ass. Im currently in Argonia getting a key item for the story plot and metal simles are pretty easy to find. My party levels are Hero-28 Yangus-27 Jessica-26 Angelo-27

How can something with a cute face be such a pain in the ass X_X

On some side notes, I might try to finish DQ8 before the end of Feb. That will be 2 games down for this month and 3 total for year.

I keep checking Amazon to make sure they havent cancelled my preorder for the Switch. So far it and the Master Edition for Zelda are still set to go for March 3rd. On facebook I see several people post daily on one of the groups Im in that there order got cancelled. Now granted, everyone so far in that situation grabbed one from either Target or Gamestop online.

I finally was able to get my taxes done for the year like an adult. I was waiting forever for one of my W2s to arrive. I normally do all this in Jan.

Also I hate Charmles the Prince of Argonia. By the time I finished his bullshit I wanted to throw him off a cliff -_-

The stores probably took more then they could fill, Gamestop and Target are really bad about that. Amazon is typically really good about only taking what they know they will be getting.

Lol, hey I would get my money really fast in Feb when I do that.

I put DQ 8 on my rental list. I think I might play it again afterall.

Just wait until the metal bubble slimes and the metal slime kings start showing up. You also get to deal with gold golems on one of the islands in DQ8, but they aren't as much of a tease as the metal slimes and you can generally kill them consistently and reap a huge reward in gold.

Yeah, my wife and I both wanted to give Charmless a good kick in the you know where. I wonder if Yuji Hori was watching the Scooby Doo episodes with Scrappy when he was doing the writing for DQVIII. :)

Ive been killing the gold golems on Neos and they only give like 300 in gold per one. Someone said there suppose to give like 700. Its still good money, especially if more then one shows up in battle.

They might have been LOL!

Yes, go to the menu and then to misc, between the codex and alchemy pot is Download Bonus Items. They give out a item each day. Some people have had problems getting the item. I havent so far.

There's a reason they named him Charmles (read it as Charm-less). And I LOVE metal slimes! Once you get metal slash, it gets much easier.

I have metal slash on the hero and Angelo now, its improved the fights but still kind of a pain in the ass. He was perfectly damn well named,lol!

I cancelled my first preorder from Amazon. I had the Lego Batman Dimensions story pack but they were being extremely slow on confirmation and shipping and I wasn't going to play it right away so why have it sit collecting dust.

Here's hoping they don't cancel your preorder, and you're on a good pace of finishing three games in two months.
