Another day od BaD is here and yet another batch of games. Will I run out before the end of the month? Probably not! Here are todays games.

Fritz Chess is just that. It's virtual chess. It's an okay game and I'm a man who enjoys chess. There is a pretty silly story/adventure mode, but it didn't include a major selling point. There was no online mode when it came out. Even a game like Wii Chess had online capabilties when it was viable. How do you not include something that simple?

Ghostbusters the Video Game is the Ghostbusters game that essentially is what Ghostbusters 3 would have been had it been made into a feature film. All 4 ghostbusters returned including Bill Murray (even if his performance was a bit phoned in) The game had 2 different versions the 360/ps3 and the wii/ps2 versions.  The PS3/360 version had massive enviroments, hd visuals, and an more realistic graphical depiction. The Wii/PS2 versions take a more linear/cartoony approach, but it's still a heck of a lot of fun. Which is more than I can say about the last Ghostbusters game I played back on the NES. We all know the one!

Ghost Squad is an arcade port of an arcade game that had wi-fi capabilities. That was the major selling point. It's a pretty lackluster game overall, the graphics aren't updated, the gunplay is fairly monotonous, and it's far too short. Even at the $5 I paid for it at the time...not really worth it.

Goldeneye 007 is a remake of the acclaimed Goldeneye for the N64. Man was it awesome as well. The wi-fi battles elevated paintball mode, the campaign was just as equally memorable as as it was so long ago, and better yet...Oddjob was no longer broken. Still Oddjob is awesome!

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Accent Core Plus are fighting games. They are very fun fighting games and I believe ity's the first guilty gear game released on a home console Nintendo system (Gealty Gear X had a GBA port back in the day) I enjoy the Guilty Gear series and Accent Core Plus included a soundtrack cd which is very hard to come by...seriously. I had to navigate the depths of ebay to snag a copy with a manual and cd for $30.

Finally is the revival of Haunted House. A game that was released back on the atari 2600. It was a bad game then, a bad game here. The overall hide and seek nature could be fun in short spurts or for kids, but it's not very enjoyable overall

Heavenly Guardian is a shoot em up, but it's a very bad one. Similar games that come to mind as budget shoot em up are Saint and Monkey King: Legend of the Fist...both of which I own...all of which I paid only $1 for...all of them just suck.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is budget tomb Raider which is saying something considering the wii received a budget tomb raider already in Underworld. As Indy you'll crack your whip with the wii remote, venture around stopping villains from unleashing a great evil, and other various tasks. It's fairly average...not terrible, but not good. As a nice bonus though you can unlock the unrelated Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis in it's entirety. So hey that's a pretty cool bonus.

Ivy the Kiwi? is a game I covered as a bargain bin buy and it's fairly decent. Ivy will often run all over the place and test your patience when trying not to fall into pits and it's fairly short. Still it's by far a very enjoyable game.

Kirby's Dream Collection celebrated 20 years of Kirby. And with that 20 years came 6 games you could play. They were Kirby's Dream Land, Dream Land 2, Dream Land 3, Kirby's Adventure, Kirby Superstar, and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It included an art booklet and soundtrack cd of 40 songs in Kirby's history. A very solid collection. It even included 3 episodes of Kirby Right Back at Ya! Everyone say it together: "I need a monstah to clobbah dat there Kirby!"

Kirby's Epic Yarn is just adorable. The yarn motif, the music, the overall gameplay. It's impossible to hate. It's a game so easy your grandmother can beat it (Literally you can't die, you just lose beads) The game is more about the collectables and various details within. Whether you're turning Kirby into a car or bringing residents to an apartment complex to play mini games with them...it's a blast to play. Interestingly enough it started out as a completely new IP. Originally known as Prince Fluff's Adventure he was delegated to a supporting role.

Kirby Returned to Dreamland after a very long development cycle. I remember back when it was pitched as a Gamecube title. It was really cool and I was really upset it never came, still the wait was worth it as the mega transformations, multiplayer gameplay, and challenges more than made Kirby's return excellent.

Finally comes Klonoa. This Wii remake/hd upgrade of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for the PS1 was incredible. It's everything you would want in an hd remake. Unfortunately, it didn't sell very well which is highly upsetting. The director and series producer was even thinking of developing the sequel for the Wii and possibly a third game. We almost got Klooa 3! I love Klonoa! Maybe one day we can bring back Klonoa as I have yet to play a bad Klonoa game. Even his volleyball outing was enjoyable!

Heavenly Guardian was originally going to be a Pocky & Rocky game.

Whoever decided on King Dedede's US voice in the cartoon deserves a raise.

Klonoa really was a fantastic game.  The remake was great.  I hate that it didn't sell well.

I didn't know that about Heavenly Guardian, that's some neat info.  And while I often hate 4kids dubs at time I gotta hand it to Ted Lewis (DeDeDe's american VA) He's got a lot of work in whether it was as the announcer in the american Pokemon Stadium games or as Tracey during the Orange Islands. There are so many others too like Yu-gi-oh and Viva Pinata that he did.

Guilty Gear XX. Loved that game on PS2. I own Xrd Revelator on PS4.

I want to get a PS4 so bad, but every time I think about it I read about Sony working on a new system.

I have heard nothing about that.

oh crap I forgot about that Ghostbusters game!  I wonder where I can get that now!  Maybe it's on PC.

I don't know if it's on PC, but it's definitely cheap enough. You should have no trouble finding a copy online somewhere or perhaps a dreaded Gamestop location near you.

I loved that GoldenEye remake. I remember very well playing the original on N64 and getting frustrated with the controls especially that part where you have to use a watch laser to get out of the train within a time limit. I had no such problems with the Wii version and finished it. I still want to play it on Xbox 360 so I can chase acheivements.

yeah the original doesn't hold up as well lol. I never really cared for the achievements, but it would have been nice to continue playing online. Sad to say Wii's online not viable, though I'm surprised servers are still up for Goldeneye reloaded.
