Woaah we're over half way there. Here's some games! Enjoy today's batch!

I covered Kororinpa back a couple of months ago for my Bargain Bin buys. It's a pretty good tilting, maze type balance game. The controls are fluid and it's got a high replay value with collectibles, a mirror mode, and challenge stages

Lara Croft Tomb Raider Anniversary is a remake of the first Tomb Raider for the PS1. It was a pretty solid outing even if some of the motion controls are a bit finnicky. Still, it's definitely worth checking out, even for other systems as it's an excellent remake of a great game.

Lego Batman combines the usual Lego puzzle platforming that you love with Batman. Inspired in some ways on the animated series, it's a really fun game. You get a campaign where you can play as the heroes you know and love or take control of the villains. It's a pretty decent game.

Lego Indiana Jones features the first three Indiana Jones movies (They saved the 4th with the sequel) as playable Lego adventures. Much like all lego games it's the usual puzzle platform, character switching experience Lego video game players enjoy

And another Lego game comes in Lego Star Wars the complete saga which combines episodes 1-6 into one package. Definitely a pick up if once again you enjoy the Lego style of games.

Let's Tap is a rhythm type game that requires you to lay your wii mote flat on a table and tap on said table or whatever flat surface you may have. It's a pretty fun game just for concept alone. There are some control issues as you'll have to make yourself up a little box stand to put it on (of which Japan got, but not over in the U.S. Still definitely worth a rental.

Line Rider Unbound 2 is a pc game ported over to the wii and it can be pretty fun. You'll be tasked with drawing lines for your snow rider to travel through in order to conqueor the story mode. There are create a level elements and other such things. Not a bad game by any means, but I really can't remember most of it either.

Little King's Story is a real time strategy, kingdom building simulator that showed up out of nowhere and impressed me a heck of a lot. I remember reading a review and thinking if it scored this highly it must be enjoyable. The story is humorous featuring a cast of characters that each has a unique personality to them. The kingdoms you set out to conquer are varied and vast. The monsters and enemies you fight are both fearsome and fun. In one such instance you're literally fighting a boss pinball style. The music is entirely based on classical music ranging from Rhapsody in Blue to Bolero. If you have yet to play it, you should definitely check it out.

Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked is a survival adventure game that isn't very good. I had some high hopes, but it's entirely too boring. More often than not the mechanics of the actual survival can hamper the fun. Your character constantly gets hungry or thirsty every 5 minutes and just about anything on the island can make you sick or kill you. It's not terribly hard, but I didn't really enjoy it.

Lost in Shadow is flawed, but fun. As I covered in my bargain bin buy review when it gets to it's latter half, the game is damn near brilliant, playing around with various light and shadow mechanics as you interact both with things in the real world and shadow world, rotating platforms, etc. However, it's far too short, far too easy (the game tells you that you have to be 21 grams to beat the boss, but I was well below that at only 17), and has monotonous key collecting.

MadWorld is a excellent song and an excellent over the top hack n slash/beat em up game. The cel shaded style is terrific, the story/commentary track is hilarious, and the boss fights are really fun. It can get a tad repetitive and the motion controls can hurt your wrist, but overall for Platinum Studios first game it was a hell of a title.

Marble Saga Kororinpa is another I coverd and is the sequel to Kororinpa Marble Mania. They added some cool things even if most weren't entirely necessary (such as a story mode). Overall however it was a brighter, tighter, enjoyable sequel that managed to surpass even the original.

Mario Kart Wii brough Mario Karting online and added Bikes (or maybe it did...I'm not sure) Either way Mario Kart Wii was super fun and I played the crap out of it back when it was released. It was fun, frantic, and absolutely enjoyable.

And for the last game of today's batch is a "New Play control" title. Although various games used the actual title such as new play control jungle beat and Pikmin, other titles that were ported from the Gamecube did not such as Mario Power Tennis, Super Sluggers, or even Pikmin 2. The new wii controls are pretty good overall. They don't hamper the experience and it's still just as fun as it was on the Gamecube. Definitely worth a look if you didn't pick it up.

I burned mysef out on Mario Kart Wii.  I haven't been able to truly get into one since.  I played that game SOOOOOOOO much.  I love that Autumn Leaf board.  I can drive that blindfolded.

I enjoyed Mapletreeway or whatever is was called. My favorite though was Toad's Highway or whatever it was. I loved that track with all the traffic and mushroom cars and milk trucks.

I got both Pikmin games on Wii labeled New Play Control. I had the Gamecube versions at one time as well. I liked the Wii controls for those games.

Yeah they are really solid. I had both for the GC as well, but traded them at some point. Glad I got the wii versions!

Thanks for this post. I just ordered Little King's Story, Pandora's Tower, and The Last Story. It's about that time to pick up Wii titles while we can.

Absolutely. Even for the shovelware they had. There were a lot of underrated gems that flew under the radar that got released for the system.

I want to play the original Tomb Raiders some time. I love the rebooted games.

I have Lego Batman 3, but wish I got 2 instead on PS4. I kinda feel like Lego games are the Maddens of nerds and kids. Basically the same games with minor tweaks and different skins. I do enjoy the humor though. And in fairness to Madden, that gameplay probably changes more between titles than in Lego games.

Let's Tap would sound fun if not for the extra peripheral need. I did love Elite Beat Agents.

Line Rider sounds like Kirby's Rainbow Curse on DS. Always wanted to play that one.

Little King's Story sounds like the variety gameplay game I enjoy.

MadWorld always looked so fun. I played a level at a friend's dorm room in college and loved it. The motion controls really did make that game. I forgot that was Platinum studios first. What games did they make as Clover studios beside Viewtiful Joe and Okami, or was that it?

Clover also made God Hand. It was an over the top 3rd person style beat em up. I enjoyed it even if it's kind of wonky. It's got a crazy move called the "ballbuster"

I actually tried Let's Tap recently and was pleasantly suprised at how good it was.  I wish I would've played it sooner!
