And here is today's batch:

Mario Strikers Charged is a sequel to the gamecube hit Mario Super Strikers. The game is an over the top, frantic soccer (or football) frenzy. featuring a multitude of Mario characteres and various wacky power ups the game was an absolute blast to play online and and offline.

Mario Super Sluggers is a wii remake/port  of a gamecube game that was part of the new play control series, much like power tennis in my last blog. The game is pretty fun, but it doesn't have all the cool features that tennis did, but it did include various kremlins including the big bad himself King K Rool

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is really fun. I quite enjoyed it. It's in the same vein as a super monkey ball or kororinpa in that it's a ball on a maze map balance game. Whereas kororinpa focused on getting to goal as fast as possible and collecting extra items, Mercury meltdown revolution is more puzzle oriented. As a blob of literal mercury, you'll split it into 2, 3, or 4 pieces at a time into various colors or at times turn completely solid to traverse an otherwise impassable gap. A very enjoyable game

Metal Slug Anthology is just that. In fact it contains the first 6 Metal Slugs all in one fun package! The game is an excellent, over the top, side scrolling shooter in the same veins of Contra. There's a ton of extra artwork and developer tidbits contained in the game as well. It's the absolute must have to get the ultimate Metal Slug experience

Metroid: Other M was a flawed game. In some ways it can be fun. The combat is fairly fluid, the shooting mechanics work okay for the most part, theres quite a lot of unique elements packed in...even if most miss more than they hit. The biggest gripe anyone has that I'm aware of is the story. Even if the gameplay can be decent, the story is an absolute trainwreck and fans hated it. It's a wonder we haven't seen a proper Metroid game since. And yes while I do have my gripes with the story...the overall gameplay was fairly decent.

Metroid Prime Trilogy: You may not be aware, but yes I have the special steel case edition of Metroid Prime Trilogy, and I still have the t-shirt as well. What can I say about Trilogy? Well it packs all 3 Metroid Prime games in one and by god is it amazing. Whether it's the original, the sequel, or the third entry...you're guaranteed to enjoy it. Plus it's on the Nintendo eshop for $20 which is cheaper than what I've seen physical copies go for.

MLB Power Pros is the first Power Pros game released outside of Japan and it was very enjoyable to play. There is a season mode where you take control of a team as General Manager and features a lengthy ten seasons you can go through. As Gm of the Seattle Mariners I won 8 World Series! There is a success mode as you build up a college athlete and build them up through a story adventure mode to make it to the minor leagues. The gameplay is incredibly deep and the art style is cool. Give it up for those big ol' heads!

MLB Power Pros 2008 brought a new mode called MLB life where you already are in the Majors. You'll be able to train, chat in your free time, golf, or various other tasks. Once again there is a season mode as well as other returning features like home run contest. Definitely a great series

Monster Hunter G was exclusive to Japan so we didn't see it, but it was a remake of an already released title that did come to the US. It featured a pretty online heavy mode and included a demo of Monster Hunter Tri. It's not really worth much nowadays, other than as a collector's item.

Monster Hunter Tri was a heck of a lot of fun and I sunk probably 200 hours into it when I was online playing. Monster Hunter Tri was my first foray into the series and I'm glad it was. It was so much fun I bought the enhanced Wii U version in Ultimate so I could do it all over again!

Monster Lab is a 3rd party game that would seem to be pretty garbage. However, Backbone Entertainment who made the pretty decent wii version of Death Jr. 2 managed to make a fairly enjoyable game in Monster Lab. It's really unique as it's a turn based monster battle rpg...where have I heard of something like that? Oh yeah...pokemon. In fact there are over 150 parts to strengthen your monster with and 300 items...there was even an online battle mode (though I never found a single person to play against). It's a game of rock, paper, scissors in that Mechanical attacks are strong against biological parts, biological attacks are strong against alchemical parts, and alchemical attacks are strong against mechanical parts. It was an pretty fun game... a shame really.

Muramas: The Demon Blade is a spiritual successor to Odin Sphere and not surprisingly was devloped by the same team and even features music from the same composer. Muaramas is an action oriented rpg thats as unique and gourgeous to look at as it is fun to play. With weapon enhancements and leveling as well as extra side areas featuring difficult challenges, Muramasa was a terrific game.

Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars was a brand new IP developed by red fly studios. It's nothing extraordinary, but it's actually a fairly decent game. It's a bit formulaic and it's pretty short overall, still the controls are responsive, the music is enjoyable, and the overall art design is pretty unique even if it's not the best looking game.

And for the final game of the day is MySims Agents. MySims hit the wii with tons of praise and received many spin-offs such as Kingdom, Kart racing, and Party. A spin-off that I bought was Agents. Agents is a puzzle adventure in which you hunt around for clues and solve various mysteries. This ranges from tracking footprints and using forensics to picking locks, hacking into computers, following leads and collecting clues, or asking certain npcs questions. It's a fairly okay game, but I find it may be a bit too difficult for it's target  child audience. The game is rated E, but a lot of the later hacking puzzles get downright difficult, and various puzzles rival that of certain illogical point and click puzzle adventures.

Strikers on GCN was soooo fun. Only played it once, but damn good game.

Been wanting to play a metal slug.

Other M I always wanted to try as well. I've seen the movie version and didn't like the characterizations, but the gameplay does look solid.

I'd like to play MP3 and finish MP2, even though I really don't like MP2.

Strikers was a hell of a lot of fun. Next Level Games is really quite the devloper, and it was really fun.

I remember when that Metroid Prime Trilogy came out. I almost bought it and still regret not getting it to this day. I want to play Mushroom Men. Les Claypool did the music and I hear it's an underrated game. I love the cover art to that game.

Yeah if you're able to download it I would go that route. It's 3 terrific games (even if 2 isn't as great as the first or third game) And yeah mushroom men is very underrated.
