Well, I had too much sugar this week and last night was faculty/staff appreciation night at the basketball place on campus, so I used getting in free as an excuse to spend $9 on a couple hot dogs and some bottled water. Then today, feeling like garbage from having stayed up too late and negating all the workouts I did Tuesday through yesterday, I made the executive decision to order and eat an entire ... I'd say medium pizza and have hard root beer before my therapy appointment at 4pm ... which was after teaching 4 classes straight from 9am to 1pm. Needless to say, I had to get some water and was offered and accepted a couple Ibu profein at said appointment. Basically, I had a hangover without ever getting drunk. I still feel like shit.
Thanks, Valentine's sale candy!
Anyway, the men's team won, the women's team lost but I learned we have a player from DeSoto, TX (where I'm originally from) on that team, so there's that. I don't know if Kyle Keller will get us back in the NCAA tournament or not, but our former coach, Brad Underwood, seems to be helping OU get back up from an initial slump according to my dad. I can't be bothered to look up records.
But I will ponder why current SFASU Lumberjacks coach Kyle Keller looks like Jeff Ross to me. Hmmm .... ponderrrrrr ....
No gaming was done last night, but I did notice Some Kind of Monster is on Netflix, along with a 30 minute "years after the documentary" documentary in which Metallica sticks up for their thereapist, i.e. the villain of the movie.
Not entirely sure this isn't PhotoShopped, but I choose to believe it. The Legend of Phil Towle!
Finally, I saw a couple interesting video game articles on Cracked today, including a fascinating photoplasty about computational tricks used in video games found here:

I only rented Earthbound once and as a non-JRPG fan and kid who had no idea what to do I hated it. But if I'd known of Pizza Man and his ridiculous code, I may have stuck it out before going back to Blockbuster.
And then there's this video:

I ... honestly didn't mind the industrial job mission in GTA V ... ok I kinda did, but it was also kinda funny. It reminded me of not being able to get a magnetic crane do what I wanted it to in Half-Life 2.
Now I'm off to read comments and blogs and respond and read an article on here about Sonic getting too much hate. I understand why he gets it now, but I do agree with the article title in that the Sonic hate is a bit out of control. I guess you'll know how I feel if you read the Chris Iozzi article and see my comment later.
Happy weekend!
