The original Resident Evil was an amazing game, but it did not age well (the clunky graphics, tank controls, and stiff voice acting are simply a horror!). So RE fans rejoiced when they heard the game was being remade for the Gamecube. Capcom outdid itself as it fixed previous problems to make this version of the game the definitive version to play. Everything was the same--mysterious mansion, zombies, dogs jumping through windows--but now it was better! This version actually makes the original obsolete. Well, unless you're one of those people who just have to play the original no matter what! But even so, you'll want to play this masterful remake after the fact. This remake sits alongside the best of the RE games.

I have this game too. It's a huge improvement over the original and a lot of fun.

Or just buy it or the GCN version. I dunno though. Any time I buy something I would have had for free for PS+, I just get mad.

The Resident Evil games aren't my cup of tea, but I think Jill Valentine is cool for some reason. I like calling her Jill Sandwich. :)
