BaD: Oh Yeah, I Still Have Pokemon Go

Hello everyone! I was out of town celebrating some birthdays this weekend so I missed my Friday post. Hope the weekend treated you all nicely.

It is freakishly warm here in Chicago for February. It should be below 30; instead it is 60 and will be in the 70's tomorrow. I'm leaving work early today to enjoy myself, as I feel I should have been given this day off anyway.

The warm weather and the introduction of new Pokemon into Pokemon Go has reminded me that I still really enjoy playing this game. The hubs and I collected a bunch of new Pokemon over the weekend and will probably go on a nice walk tomorrow to the nature reserve to get some more. I miss the way this game unexpectedly brought people together. While I am more of an extrovert online, I will forever be an introvert in person, so randomly speaking to people was nothing I ever did before this game came out last summer. I've never before met so many people with a common interest who were so willing to share in the joy of it all.

I'll make sure I have a lure to drop tomorrow. Good karma ;)

I wish that game had been as popular as it was for longer. Seems like a good time. Glad you're still enjoying it.

With this new release I've seen a lot more people out and about. You can tell when people are playing because they get excited about going in the same direction you are. Love it.

I'm glad you're having fun with Pokemon go. I'm a bit of an introvert in real life too... But what're ya gonna do?

We're going to do absolutely nothing about it because this is who we are! Haha. My husband is the opposite. He'll go up and talk to anyone about anything, so I sort of get dragged along. It's my real life forced social interaction training.

Go feels like it was made for my aesthetic. I don't care so much about the battling and holding gyms as I do the collecting. I have Pokemon Sun for my 3DS to play around with battling.
