What can I say?
What can I say?
The Witcher credits finally rolled. I started the game just like the tales of games I start and take forever to beat. The gameplay once you get used to the combat is tricky but very good. The storyline I loved. Though, there were a lot of glitches and the fucking boss fitghts were brutally tough and even some gimmicky. But Geralt of Rivia the Witcher was incredible.
Way ahead of its time CD Project Red crafted something very memorable for me. Just like Bloodborne did. I felt when I beat bosses in this game it really meant something. I almost wanted to cry at the end because it was extremely long. Dear god, it was over. But the one thing this game does very and inextricably well is choices. I can see why people adore beyond comparison the WItcher 3 and 2. This was the foundation. And what a great narrative. Grand in fact.
I loved this game and it will stay with me forever I think. Timeless. No matter the ratings. The everything. Combat, story, side quests all blend to something epic. And I don't use the word lightly.
I was just very excited to finally beat it. I need a different word than finally when I beat a game. Let's look at the thesaurus. How about 'After considerable delay'? That works for me. After considerable delay I have beaten the Witcher . It feels incredible.
Yeah, the bosses goddamn them...
But please give this game a go. It is extremely enjoyable. What a journey!
