The group sits down around a camp fire and talks over things. They realize they have overcome many different challenges. The death they have seen, the destruction of the human race, and so many areas destroyed. But as our heros all join hands and start to pray (to whom at this point is anyones guess), they don't see the micro flash of light as their compound is destroyed by a nuclelar warhead. Our story ends here as our heros have been defeated, not by the dead but by an unknown source.
