Kalypso Media has made some of my favorite games and is quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers out there. You may know them from such games like Tropico,Port Royale 3, Omerta city of gangsters and the game I just did a reveiw on Darkstar One: Broken Alliance, and the list keeps going.

Kalypso Media is a German video game developer and publisher. Founded in the summer of 2006 by industry veterans Simon Hellwig and Stefan Marcinek, the comoany has published and or developed a number of successful titles such as Sins of a Solar Empire, Airline Tycoon 2, Bouldar Dash, Desciples, Patrician IV and many more.

And here is a list of titles to be released in 2013

1. Alien Spidey for XBLA,PSN and PC

2. Dark for Xbox 360 & PC

3. Dollar Dash for XBLA and PSN and pc

4. The Dark Eye: Demonicon for the Xbox 360 & the PS3 & PC

These are a list of the ones due out soon and the reason I say Kalypso is the 360s best freind is that Kalypso makes 360 exclusive games that wont be on any other console and before you PS3 players get upset, just look at all the exclusive you have NIS anyone but anyway, as most of you may or may not know is that Kalypso has a knack for making very strong economic games and I have heard rumors of a Airline Tycoon coming to the 360 soon and another Airline Tycoon for the next gen consoles.

And another thing I found fascinating about Kalypso is that there dlc for all of there games are made in house and are not contracted to other developers to produce and to me any way dlc is way better when made by the company that makes the game, any way just thought I would do a blog on one or my favorite developers for the 360
