So today Darksiders 3 got announced. Im really freaking excited and happy that its happening. When THQ closed its doors I pretty much had accepted that D3 wasnt gonna happen.
When Nordic purchased the series I began to have hope that they might do something with it. They first rereleased the first 2 games which was awesome. I still need to buy the first one on PS4 but I do have the 2nd one. I kinda wish they would get a Switch release so they would be portable but hey you cant win them all. D3 will feature Fury, the sister of Death and War. It releases in 2018 on PS4, Xbone, and PC. I hope its a early 2018 release. I wanna play this dammit!
Code Vein also got a trailer today, it looks pretty good too. Its release window is 2018 too. Its a new IP so I cant say much about it.

You know, I've never played a Darksiders Game. I think my brother did, I'm not sure.
It's funny how many games are coming out with female protagonists who kick as much ass as men. I think that's cool. I really want to play Horizon. "Goddess of War" sometime, maybe? Who knows!
Im glad to see more female main characters as well. I dont expect all games of course but seeing more do that just makes it feel more welcoming to women in gaming. Growing up with games, seeing alot of male characters didnt stop me but to see it change as Ive grown older is kind of nice.
Code Vein looks really good but Im curious if the main character is premade or if you will be able to create a character.
What kinds of games are Darksiders entries again? I only see theatrical trailers. Are they 3rd person action-adventure like that Code Vein trailer? Or are they fighting games, which I keep thinking for some reason?
Darksiders is considered to be Action Roleplaying/Hack and Slash. There worth playing and you can get the first 2 on PS4 and PC. They actually released a bundle today that has both games for half off at 20$ for the next week on PSN.
Sweet! I keep looking at those Darksiders games in my cue to install on XBO. I got them a while back on some sale. I think I've got to prioritize their playing sometime very soon.
Code Vein seems very Dark Soulsy to me, which is good.
I highly suggest giving them a try. I beat the first one a few years ago. I need to finish the second one at some point.
Hey I know the Darksiders games. I believe I bought them in a bundle and played a bit. They're fun. I'll probably wait a bit before jumping into the new one, but that trailer looks good.
