Its no secret that I'm a huge Skylanders fan. I may be nearly 41, yet this series quickly became one of my favorite series in gaming. Sure its a money pit, and sure it was originally intended for kids, but these game are just so darn good. Anyway, since I began collecting a few years back I've acquired a fairly big collection. Its not nearly as good as some of the other collectors I've seen and I'm still missing a lot, however its always a work in progress and I'm very happy with it. So then, any fellow fans here that care about seeing any pics? I was about to take some today for a Facebook group I'm a part of, but wasn't sure if anyone here was interested? If so then new blog incoming with the pics :)

Yeah I saw his latest. No stories here though. I don't even have mine sorted by element. I have a ton so its kind of overkill on my limited space to store them.

I know.. that's why I don't collect stuff like that cause I don't have the space. I wish I did!

Heck yeah, post your Skylander pics!  I don't collect Skylanders, but I sure do enjoy reviewing the games!  I probably would collect them if I had more money and space.  I do however, have every single amiibo released in the US up to this point.

Space is a major issue indeed. It gets darn expensive too.

YES!!! Show them any way you like. I just started doing them by element, but its fun to mix them all up too. I don't have that giant boat toy, but if I did, I would totally use that to photograph them in.

I'm realizing how many of the figures in series 2 or 3 form aren't really new, in that, they don't have new moves in the game or anything, but I like the designs so much, I collect them anyway.

It's a little sad the toys-to-life genre is about to end (IGN's podcast unlocked reiterated that point in a recent show), but it is good in a way because I got a lot of this stuff on the cheap. I've seen the prices for this stuff new and I would never have gotten into it at those prices. I mean, I bought Imaginators on a sale that happened soon after it released and then I got the level packs at full price because I know how hard they are to find later on. I cringed every time I spent $30 for those things though.

Well, I have a bunch of pics, but for whatever reason they will not display on this site. I put the URL in, but no pic will show. As for prices yeah they can get pricey. On the other hand though, I have Gamers Club Unlocked at Best Buy so I save 20% on them.  Lately they haven't been getting much in though. They had the Easter varients listed on the site, but then pulled them before they even became available.

I think you need a very specific url. Like, I use Flickr and you have to go to the download screen and use the url there.

Yea, the toys-to-life stuff is fading fast. It might actually be officially dead except for what is on the shelves right now. I wish I could go get Blastertron from Imaginators that just came out but I'm on a buying freeze right now. It's too bad too because I was just getting more interested in the Imaginators figures. Who knows though, if I start making money again, I'll pick up a few.

Looking at my messages it seems like you've already started posting. If its a hobby of yours you should post pictures of your collection. Hobbies might seem like money pits to folks but if you're enjoying the hobby and you get to spend quality time with the family in taking part, that is money well spent.
