Like everyone else here I've been watching all the goodies going on during E3, and for the most part it is underwhelming. I am expecting more from the biggest trade show for video games but instead I'm seeing a lot of the same games we've seen on older consoles back, and for all that is good why more Skyrim? I mean its slowly becoming Street Fighter II, with all the little upgrades, and hey its now on The Switch, and you can play it in VR. Ooohhh. I am excited over the new God of War game. I also liked the New Forza game, and of course Battlefront II. After that I was done with all the presentations. The new Marvel vs. Capcom game looked like a lot of fun but I own a couple of the previous games and I haven't been sucked into them. This game is a wait and see for me. I thought the name X-Box One X is dumb, the majority of X-Box offerings were destined for the bargain bin this time next season, some of the PS4 titles were iffy, and I fell asleep during the PC presentation. Other than the three games I liked, and the one I'm on the fence about, nothing of interest grabbed my attention.
So when not watching a ton of Steve Jobs wannabe presenters I may have played some video games.

Star Wars Battlefront: Deluxe Edition – Origin
I would love to post screen grabs of this game but Origin's gaming client is in a nice word: TRASH. There is no frame rate counter and no way to screen shot, toss that in with some of the text doesn't show up on the actual client, and it is painfully slow to download. In a nutshell it is a hot mess. I hate it and wish everything was based out of Steam.
As for the game itself I loved it, with the exceptions of facing a couple of hackers and I became a stat filler. Walk outside, shot dead, Tried getting to where all the action is, shot dead, See someone and start shooting, shot dead. I don't care, its a fun game to play for an hour or so. I tried it with my controller but it felt like I wasn't moving as fast, so I switched to the keyboard/mouse combo and it felt much better. I need lots of practice but this game was a steal.
Lego Batman – Steam
So I did cave on the WB Bundle (more on that on Friday) and I started a new game and just like the last time I did a replay of this game I used a lot of codes so I can just waltz through the game. To be fair I've played this on the PS2, PS3, PSP(?), 360, and now Steam. I pretty much know where everything is which I am impressed with considering I haven't played this game in a couple of years.
Scribblenauts: Unmasked – Steam
I remember seeing this game for the 3DS but I never bothered to try it out. Once it hit the PC, and it was $3 it was time to give it a spin. I'm still early in the game but I like the concept where it asked your for an adjective to help you through the game. After my initial what the hell is an adjective I was on my way (thanks elementary school!) I typed in a word and then I was met with a screen with other words similar to the one I typed. I picked it out and advanced the story. You really can't complain about a game that makes you think that presented in a comic book fashion with caricatures of super heroes.
Injustice 2 Mobile – iOS
After a week of really grinding it feels like my game is finally moving. This is my current stable of characters
From earning jewels in Operations I have unlocked two gold characters, and I am currently saving up jewels for hopefully a third. The last “premium” box I bought with jewels unlocked the next star ranking for my Joker. I'm also getting closer to actually buying the console game but I know if I do, I'll lose interest in this game, so for now I will just stick to this game, because it's free.
Alright Pixlpeeps it has been fun, but I must get some work done. Have a good week.
That's all for now, more later!
