Rainbow Curse is probably my least favorite Kirby. I was pretty pumped for it thinking we'd get a real sequel to Canvas Curse (my second favorite in the series), but it wasn't half the game that was. Oh well. DQIX is a cool game. If you can get someone to do MP, that's surprisingly fun too. But hard to do anywhere other than Japan.

If you're asking where I've been for the past few weeks, I'm not sure I know either. It's been a bit of a blur, and it honestly just feels like I've woken up from a really long sleep. I started smoking, because I'm a fucking idiot, and I started smoking weed just to further how much of a fucking idiot I am. I'm hoping this idiotic self destruction spiral ends soon, but cigarettes are so fucking good at combating my anxiety it could be a while.
So what have I been up to in games? Again, I have no fucking idea. Apparently I played a butt ton of Kirby's Crusty Paintjob or whatever the game on the wii-u where Kirby loses his shit over an apple and vows to destroy humanity is. It has a super awesome aesthetic though, and it's fucking difficult for a kirby game. Maybe because I suck at drawing anything.
The only problem I have with Kirby's Multicoloured Love-Purse is that it's such a pretty game, but it makes me look at the shitty gamepad all the time. I want to see the gorgeousness on my tv, not a washed out gameboy ds interpretation.
I also found Dragon Quest IX for like $18 and have been enjoying the shit out of that. It's a Dragon Quest game that I can play in bed, and that's all I need from it honestly.
We got a new roommate named Cass, and her boyfriend has an XBone, so I tried out Forza Horizon 3, which was fun. Weird, because I've driven on quite a few of the roads as Byron Bay is about 2/3 hours from where I live, and I've been to Surfer's Paradise a few times. The actual layout and geographys is a bit fucky, but oh well. I just like seeing Aussie roads in things.
I also fell in love with Sunset Overdrive. I love me a good skating game, and while this is not a skating game it does feel like one. I love amassing combos and trying to kill as many people as possible before touching the ground. It feels a bit repetitive and like I might get bored soon, but for now I'm having a blast.
I'll leave you with a song that feels mildly approriate:
