There's a PSN sale going on... well it seems like there always is these days almost. Anyway, I bought Shiness for $17, and I also bought Mother Russia Bleeds that I've had on my steam wishlist for about a year. I always wanted to play this brawler with my brother when he visits for xmas, and now I have it on console. Great!

I also bought Mario Kart yesterday for my Switch. If you don't know, Setsuna is on sale for $26 but I might wait on that. I'm pretty obsessed with Zelda right now.

I do think I'm gonna get back into FF12 though, that was abruptly stopped when the Switch arrived but I really miss it.

Does anybody watch that BBC/PBS cop show "The Tunnel?" That shit is harrowing. My parents binged Amazon's "Last Tycoon" which is kinda based on a Fitzgerald treatment for a book. It looked good. They devoured that shit.

I bought Shiness a couple of months ago. I quit after dying during the parrying tutorial.

I have Zelda now and picked up I am Setsuna so that I can play it on the go.

I love what they've done with it so far. I had to stop playing though when I started doing stupid stuff like detonating bombs while I'm standing beside them, saving my game seconds before some laser beam dude kills me as I try to run and finally throwing my sword off the top of a tower. I think I've had enough for today.

I just downloaded Slime Rancher and Bayonetta on Xbox for free. I think I'll pick up Epic Mickey 2 tomorrow for probably $5 and I am burried in retro games my friend Mark gave me 'cause he's cleaning house. Oh, it's a good game day.

I like Mickey and that kind of animation... never tried one of those though. Always been curious, just never got the opportunity.

The whole mechanic of painting and unpainting things in the world is very cool. It's kind of borrowed from Okami, but used even more. It's a really great mechanic. Visually it's such a love letter to the old cartoons.

I need to start actually checking out the PSN Store. I always get emails and there are posts on Twitter but I haven't checked one in a couple of months.
