Shit it's gonna be Destiny fever round the world soon. I remember despite the flaws of it, it was majorly popular and addictive. Probably the same with the new one!

Games Beaten
-Steins;Gate (Vita)
Steins;Gate is long—nearly 50 hours in my playthrough—but so worth it. The story is really fantastic, in large part because of the very well-developed and likable cast, but there are some really great narrative twists as well. On the technical side this visual novel is topnotch as well. The music always fits the scene well (and the happy music is catchy) and it looks really nice. Even the voice acting, which is only in Japanese, really sells each scene. Effortless recommendation.
Games Bought
The big release in August for me was Yakuza Kiwami (PS4). Earlier this year a friend sent me a video about the series and I've been itching to try it ever since. Kiwami is a remake of the first game (originally on PS2). We got my son Minecraft (Wii U) for his birthday, which I probably won't play much, if at all. I also picked up digital versions of XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus and Civilization Revolution 2 Plus for the Vita and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for the PS3 from a Humble Bundle...for $1! Then there's PS+ with Just Cause 3 (PS4), Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4), Darkstalkers: Resurrection (PS3), and Element4l (Vita).
Now Playing
-Yakuza Kiwami (PS4)
I just got this and have only played it a couple of times but I'm enjoying it so far. I really like the characters and the combat has proven deeper than I expected.
-Rollers of the Realm (PS4 and sometimes Vita)
Just about done with this fantasy pinball RPG. Cross buy and cross save has made this a very convenient game to play.
-God Eater 2: Rage Burst (PS4)
Only a handful of story missions left to go and then the gear and trophy grind starts in earnest.
-Destiny (PS4)
Destiny 2 comes out in a just a couple days and then I'll be putting D1 to bed. I'm pretty excited
