I have a cheap knock off hand held gaming device that plays many rom types. I love it to death even if it is a bastard. lol.
Too bad the controllers of the RetroN suck. I love the look of it though. Dat red chrome,oh yeah!

Video Games Plus just sent me an email regarding some new products for sale, Among them was this baby. Plays, NES, SNES and Genesis games. The Youtube review indicates that it does a pretty good job with the exception of the usual incompatibilities and crappy included infrared controllers. He suggests throwing them away because they don't work worth a shit. It does however have two controller ports for each system which means original controllers work with it.
Best thing is that it's only 50 bucks.

The Youtube review is at the bottom of this blog.
I don't know about the Retron 3, but I bought a FC Twin, and that was the best $40 I ever spent. It sounds like they suffer from the same issues. Crappy included controllers, slightly off audio, and some compatibility issues. I thought you was trying to sell off your collection? Wouldn't buying one of these open up the floodgates? I went utterly beserk when I got mine lol.
Don't you sass me boy! You know what'll happen if you keep that up right? LOL
Yes, I'm still selling off my collection but I'm also on the lookout for used games I can play and then flip. I need a place to test them. On top of that my daughter nicked my Genesis when she left so I need something
Yeah, I had that switch ready lol. If that's the case I don't see how it could hurt. I kinda wish I would have got one of these because I ended up buying a Genesis anyway. These kinds of systems are nice if you don't have the space for the original hardware. $50 isn't bad either.
I have an original NES and SNES but no Genesis. The NES is sort of flaky and you have to mess with it in order to get games to play. I think this might be a better solution but since it suffers the same incompatibility problems as other clones I probably need to keep the others around.
Nice! My friend bought the one that plays the Genesis and SNES. He loves the thing. I've seen one similar to the one you posted at one of the local kiosks in the mall but they want something like 70 bucks (which is nuts). I'm tempted to click on the link but I've spent too much this month.
