I mean, you're right - after collecting all those coins, he's not going to plunge toilets anymore!!!
R.I.P. Miiverse & Mario's Plumber Status

Nintendo... how could you? I thought what we had was special. Now you are off and flaunting your dastardly decisions in our faces. The gall! All bad sarcasm and jokes aside though... I'll miss miiverse.
Miiverse was Nintendo's first attempt at a social media platform and for what it was...Only Nintendo could create what would be the monster known as Miiverse into what it is today. The memes, the artwork -good, bad, the at times pornographic and profanity laced pictures as well. But for me there was some good that came from Miiverse.
I met some other Nintendo enthusiasts and found some new friends who I interact with over games of Smash or Splatoon. I was able to post my random Mario Maker levels and have people comment over them. I was even able to post my accomplishments of getting 100% completion runs of various titles with images to show my gamer cred as it were. I even used signing into miiverse to get even platinum coins for club nintendo rewards.
Even if I didn't use t as often I should have or did anything fancy... I think Miiverse was a neat feature for the Wii U and was one that was utilized with games and gamers alike. Unlike other apps such as the video chat or tv mode, Miiverse stayed the course and stayed relevant. It's hard to say goodbye sometimes. Alas poor Miiverse... I knew you.
Also on another note Mario is no longer a plumber! Well it's about time Nintendo! I mean Mario has become a jack of all trades as it were. He's been a doctor, an astronaut, an athlete, a cart driver, and even a chef. Still there's something about Mario's plumbing status being revoked that's a little sad. Sure he's keeping the overalls and still going into pipes, but he's been a plumber a long time. I hope he's got a retirement fund. But who knows? He's been collecting coins so long he could probably skip an outing and let Luigi save the day for once.
Anyways that's it for me. As always be sure to keep reading my infrequent mindless musings. I always appreciate the comments! Have a great day folks!
