Almost snuffed it during the waves of enemies he sends out first but once he showed up I was able to get rid of him pretty quickly. It only took 2 tries and all the right abilities equipped. Endir, Kir and Nidr were the team that did the job.

Whoever pisses me off. Dunno but I've managed to stick with Setsuna on the Switch so I may actually finish it. I love the fekkin' Switch. It is messing up all my other gaming.

That is a hard boss! I loved I am Setsuna, but one problem I did have is it felt the bosses were a bit unbalanced compared to the other enemies you fight. Luckily you shouldn't have too much trouble with the rest of the game, except maybe the final boss, depending on what level you're at.
Hopefully their next game, Lost Sphear, will be even beter. I played it at PAX West. Check out my blog for more info. --Cary
My team is around mid 30's right now. I found Ndir's Blunt blow and Kir's Dispel very useful in that battle. I will read your blog because I'm very interested in Lost Sphear.

In other JRPG news, I'm playing Dragon Quest IV for the first time right now. I've had a hard time putting it down! I'm early in chapter 3 with Torneko.
