Played the demo. Has a great look to it with a lot of neat details. I played the guy's quest, but after it ended it seemed like I could keep on going. I'm gonna investigate that. I'll check out the girl, Primrose, later.

THe battle system reminds me of the BRavely Default system, but it's also very different. It's similar in that battles aren't short. They can be pretty long. And it can be difficult, you have to think a little. But I do like it better than BRavely Default over all.

Like I said, it has a neat look.  it's sort of 2D, but then in the cave there are shadows of the 2D objects, which is neat. The lighting is good. The story is good, not quite as cheesy as some JRPG's but still in the 2D Square Enix mode. The voice acting is good, and the music is fantastic.

Check it out if you can, if you're interested, it will give u a good idea of what to expect.

There's not just one path, two paths, or three paths; there are OCTOPATHS!

I've downloaded the demo but havent played it yet.  Got too many other games to review right now.  Honestly, though, I'm more looking forward to Lost Sphear.  The Bravely Default games were good, but I felt they got a bit bogged down.  I am Setsuna didn't feel that way, and I'm hoping Lost Sphear will be the same.  It's kind of hard to explain.

Primrose? Reminds me of Pris from Blade Runner, whom Chloe Price from Life is Strange ... I'll let you find out.

I'm playing it right now. Got to the Boss of the Brigands without any healing items. Big mistake.

I played just a tiny bit of it, but since I just now finished all of Dragon Age Origins (DLC too) then I can now move on to something else. I gather finishing this demo won't take me that long.

nah it's pretty short. I've heard the Monster Hunter Stories demo is huge, but this one seems slight. Still interesting though.

It was a heck of a lot of fun. I loved the sprite work and art detail for the environments. I played both scenarios and unfrortunately it locks you to the beginning. If you try and get access outside there is an npc that specifically says I'm sorry this as far as you can go in the demo version. But from what I played of it... It's on my radar to buy when it releases.
