Quick Thoughts: Destiny 2

Having finished up Destiny 2's campaign, I have a few thoughts on the game so far.

There is allegedly more story to Destiny 2's campaign.  The only problem is that I couldn't be bothered with it(I ended up skipping almost all the cutscenes.)  I don't play Destiny for the story anyways.  For example, I accidently finished the first game's campaign when I was running the "Daily Heroic Mission."  They opened up so much endgame content early on in Destiny, that I was having more fun with that stuff.

Destiny 2 is a different story.  They essentially lock away most of the endgame content until you hit Level 20, and the easiest way to hit Level 20 is to finish the campaign.  It's fine, but it is a change to the way the game is played that I was not expecting.  Now that I am done with the campaign, I cannot wait to jump into the FUN part of Destiny 2.

I don't have much else to say at the moment.  The gameplay is still as great as it was in the first game, and Bungie made plenty of quality of life changes for the better.

In other news, I feel bad for my Switch.  It remains untouched for the time being.  I need to get to a point that I no longer "need" to check on Destiny on a daily basis.  Metroid Samus Returns came out and I still need to pick that up, as well as the Dishonored Expansion.

Aw, poor Switch. Maybe it will get some love when Mario or Xenoblade comes out!

I did spend a full week tearing it up in Mario Kart.

My podcasts are all full of Destiny 2 talk right now. I noticed that it might have been a bad thing for Agents of Mayhem to come out so close the Destiny 2. It kind of crushed everything else.
