I like Wednesday. Wednesday means I'm almost at the weekend, I'm hitting the groove, and there's probably other things too but I'm here and let's catch up. Currently I am ripping the last two CD books in my collection and they are the CD Singles (I miss this format). This will probably take the longest because whoever wrote the tags for some of these discs are lazy. Anyways I should catch you folks up on what I've been playing.

 

Kirby Triple Deluxe – 3DS

I played another level and I'm really digging this game. The mix of puzzles and your typical side scrolling is a lot of fun while not trying to shoehorn everything the 3DS can do (like a certain Sony handheld) I left off at what I think is a boss battle between Kirby and some type of beetle. I'll leave that for later on tonight when I'm on the couch watching Jeopardy!

 

Bang Bang Racing – Steam

 

This is another one of those behind the car above the track racing games where stylized cars (remember the toys Micro Machines? They're stylized like that). The game is similar to Table Top Racing except this is more actual arcade racing than Mariokart powerups. After winning certain races, it unlocks a new car that either has better control, more power, or any other upgrade.

 

From what I've seen there are four groups of races, and each group is harder than the previous group. The overall racing isn't bad, the graphics are not the latest and greatest but the fun arcade racing is there, as well as unlockables. That alone makes this game fun to play in spurts and scratches the itch to play a racing game in small doses.

 

8-Bit Bayonetta – Steam

 

I must have bought this game through a bundle because I don't remember it. Anyways I thought it would be fun to try this thinking it was some sort of Mario like game with Bayonetta, but instead its a game where you jump and shoot at bad guys who approach you. Two buttons to mash, and try and earn a high score. It's not the easiest game, but like Bang Bang Racing, in short bursts it can be fun. I've added it to the Currently Playing playlist.

 

Lego Batman – Steam

I decided to revisit an old friend on a new platform and continue my God-Mode like run through the game. I got stuck in one section and just stopped playing. I really don't have the drive to play through this game but every so often I will fire it up. Anyways during my play through one level I got the Catwoman stuck between Batman and Robin

 

This was a bit frustrating because at first I thought the game crashed but when I exited out of the window and then returned somehow Catwoman got free and continued her animation. After that I forgot how to get to the next building and then just stopped playing. I'll fire it up at a later date.
