I bought Golf Story last night. Haven't played much yet but I like it.
Destiny 2 Blues

Life is so much different than it was in 2014.
I have a kid arriving within the next 3 weeks. I am in a different part of my company. I find myself adding more and more podcasts to my feed because I am somehow caught up on them all.(ThirtyTwentyTen is the newest addition that I love) I also have a Nintendo console that I LOVE and wish I could spend more time with it, especially since Golf Story just came out.
What is my point? Destiny 2 just isn't doing it for me like the first game. I am thinking that is because I don't have the time like I did in 2014. Or maybe Bungie made all of these user-friendly changes to the experience that ended up taking away some of the reasons to come back to the game on a daily basis. I booted Destiny 2 up this morning to collect some more tokens for the Faction Rally, and feel somewhat unfulfilled at the moment. I am sure that this feeling will go away, but I am starting to wonder how much longer Destiny 2 will have my attention.
In other news. Amazon had a deal on Grey Joy-Cons for $66, which I had to jump on, and I grabbed a 128gb micro SD card for my Switch. I definitely needed the micro SD card because I am probably going to buy all my Switch games digitally, and there are a crap-ton of awesome indies that I want on the Switch.
EDIT
Apparently my feelings on Destiny 2 are shared among the hardcore players. I stumbled upon a couple of articles where the writers mused about the lack of an endgame grind in Destiny 2. They brought up good points that Bungie spent a lot of time building a strong foundation. One that respects the more "casual" fan. They should be in a far better position to add that grind that I was expecting later on... which isn't a bad thing.
