Mario Karting, etc.

Been playing Mario Kart on the Switch. I must be out of it, and didn't play much of the Wii U version, cause these levels are nuts! Some I recognize but other ones are blowing my mind. And they're beautiful to look at, panoramic, and vast. Very cool.

A lot of games are coming out in the next two months. It's a little overwhelming. I think I might get that Rabbids game though. Been thinking about it. And there's a bunch of indie games for Switch too... like that Golf Story game looks good, and I never played Axiom Verge, etc. But the big boy is the new Mario of course... can't wait for that shit.  One month!

I'm gonna get back to zelda soon too.  I kinda binged it at first and got sick of it. But I've been thinking about it lately and have been wanting to get back into exploring and stuff. What a lovely game.

I did play Final Fantasy IX on my Vita, and I must say it's perfect there. The backgrounds don't look so blown out, and all the nice details of the character models are still clear. It's nice.

Anyway, I hope this friday finds you all well, friends!

Games! Yeah there's quite a few good games that have, or are coming out soon. I've been playing Steamworld Dig 2, and Dragon Age 2. Cuphead just came out, and Golf Story like you said. Games!

what do u think od DA2?  Very controversial game. I think I'm totally gonna buy Golf story. I like to watch golf and bond with my dad about it, but I don't personally play golf. Although, I have played golf video games before.

I'm enjoying DA2. It's not rough around the edges like DAO. It's definitely more streamlined than DAO.

I don't know how far you are, but the common complaint is they recycle content in it. Personally, I haven't played it. But I heard the story is actually pretty good.

Well I'm just 12 hours in, so I don't know how much recycling they're doing haha.

That reminds me, I've got to select my October rentals from Gamefly. I can't wait to see what's coming out.

So far I'm just renting Wolfenstein II for October. I'm not renting handheld games anymore. I'll trade for them instead. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga and Etrian Odyssey V and Culdcept Revolt have my attention.

I'll probably put that Mario Rabbids game on my Christmas list.  I want to play it, but I don't have to right away.

Golf Story seems like a game I'll buy if only for the bizarre concept of a golf sim/rpg mash up. Right now I'm busy with my NES Classic and the 1,000 games on it. But when Super Mario Odyssey comes out. I'm on it day one. My enthusiasm for that is through the roof.

I'm right there with you on Mario Odyssey!

Mariokart seems like a perfect game for handhelds. Eventually I'd like to see Nintendo make a MK game for the Switch.

they did! Well, it was originally for Wii U, but they totally buffed it up for Switch.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to play a sort of gritty, real life karting game.  That might be interesting. Sort of like Road Rash or Twisted Metal but leaning towards the realism with the karts.
