I have picked up a handful of more indie games on the Switch.  This past week was Golf Story and Butcher...  i think its called Butcher, or is it Brutal?  Looks like it is Butcher.  I started Golf Story, but I wasn't in the mood for a story-heavy game, so I moved onto Butcher.

You know what, I am having a hard time trying to talk about this game.  You may as well just look at the review that I linked above.  If you do not, here is the elevator pitch.   it is classic DOOM by way of Abuse.  I have been having a blast. It's a hard game(they tout that the easiest mode is Hard), but I think it's fair enough that I don't get too pissed off when I die.  The levels are fairly short and do not feature checkpoints.  I have been needing to run each level multiple times before I finally get to the exit.  Each time getting a little closer to the exit.  The lack of checkpoints end up sucking most when you are running a level for the 10th time and die just before the exit...

Whatever, I am starting to ramble.  I like the game and recommend it.  I've had a few blog ideas over the past few days, but my mind has been such a jumble that I have to scrap them.  I am assuming that it is a preocupation of my mind getting ready for a child.
