Earthbound Together!

As already discussed in my last blog, I'll be playing EarthBound and attempting to spearhead a community playthrough of the game. Judging from response, it looks like a few people are on-board here, and I think I can pick up a decent amount from NWR.

But we're at a crisis point: What are we naming things at the beginning of the game!

We've got to name a boy, a girl, a nerdy guy, and some weird foreigner from somewhere over in Asia. Also, a dog, a favorite food, and a favorite thing.

Submit your ideas and votes! Don't make me choose!

The event will begin next Monday. 10/16/2017, though I haven't picked a time. You don't have to catch the stream live, though! Or even watch it at all. I'll be posting more information in the upcoming week, and listening to any ideas anyone else has along the way. So pick some names and things, and let's see what all we get.

Boy - Bartholomew (Bartho if there's a character limit)
Girl - Rachel
Nerdy guy - Tobias
Foreigner - Win How
Dog - Waggleton
Food - Fish Heads
Thing - Treant Figure with action Hammerbranch

Gonna try to name the Dog Waggleton, definitely. I don't recall what the character limit is, but maybe we'll find a solid abbreviation.

I just started the game on 3DS but I don't remember what I put in for the names. Probably something boring.

I was going to try "Waglton" or "Wagltn"

I like to make words you can say out loud, or that look like words. Dropping vowls is just so net-speak. I can't bear it. But I get what you're doing. Keeping the whole word any way you can.
