Those Forza cars are pretty cool. I wouldn't mind having a few of those.

I got lazy on Friday, and then again on Saturday, and one more time on Sunday so the Quick Hits didn't get written. Instead I will just combine the pickup portion with today's What Did I Play blog because that's how I'm feeling today.
Chris Plays
Lego Dimensions: Mission: Imposibble Level Pack – PS4
I went back to this set and I was shocked that everything was saved with the exception of my stud score so I was wrong about Lego Dimensions needing save spots. It sucks losing the stud score but not a deal breaker. Anyways I finished up this pack and I have I like how they treated the telling of this movie throwing in all the typical Lego silliness. There was a lot more content than some of the Season 1 LD Level Packs and I enjoyed the story.
As for Prague Open World portion I didn't explore much because I wanted to get to another section of Lego Dimensions. I like this level, and having Ethan Hunt be part of the crew is a good addition because he has the red/green gum bombs and can shoot/grab latches like Batman.
Lego Dimensions: Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Story Pack – PS4
I started this pack because I wanted to check out the first level to see if this was something I wanted to play now or hold off until later, like Lego Batman (I might play this one tonight). I didn't watch the movie and I think this was supposed to be a prequel to the Harry Potter storyline. I tried the first level out and it was a lot of fun. I'm assuming it follows what happens in the beginning of the movie and the character is chasing around his pet in the bank. There is the typical Lego mechanics so if you have a most of the “must have” characters (laser for gold, silver bombs, swim, fly, strongman, etc.) you should be in business. I had to hire a hero a couple of times because I don't have the Adventure Time figures (no idea what this series is about) but they just unlocked certain sections that have the collectible suitcase.
After playing the first level I want to finish this Story Pack because I'm interested in the story. Funny considering I probably won't watch the film.
Lego Dimensions – PS4
After playing the add-on stuff I went back to try out the regular game and to see what I missed by only having the core characters. Having a full assortment of characters makes a big difference and it is much easier to get things done. Instead of climbing I use the Wicked Witch to fly, and everyone with weapons can destroy items. There are some sections that still need Wildstyle but other than that its like having God Mode running through the finished sections of the game.
While playing these Lego games I had to look up what certain characters powers were because there are so many to keep track of. I knew of the obvious ones like the core characters, Emmit because of his jackhammer, and Scooby Doo because he can dig, but the others I needed to check a couple of times.
Deadpool – Steam
I am I think on the third or fourth level in the game and I have a love/hate relationship with the game. I love the action of running around taking out wave after wave of bad guys, and I like the offbeat storyline. What I hate is that the dialogue starts to get annoying after awhile. I get that its not supposed to be a deep game, but it would be nice for some quiet in game. I've started to play this game while listening to podcasts because of it. Is it a bad game? No, its not a great game either, its something to play in spurts, enjoy running around and upgrading Deadpool's weapons and Deadpool.
Disney Emoji Blitz – iOS
Last week there was a special release of a new character from The Little Mermaid
Yeah that guy. Also there was a new three day event where you had to collect keys. For every three keys you collect you could unlock a chest that had some goodies in it. I unlocked all the wood chests and I was ready to hit the fancy silver chests. Before I did this I updated to the new Coco Update (movie tie-in) and this somehow broke the current event because every time I earned a key I was sent to this screen
Since I already unlocked the top portion there was no button for me to choose. I had to close the app, and then swipe on it to fully shut it down. Here's the kicker, sometimes when I would do this and then load the game, I would get sent to this screen again. I would have to repeat the process one more time to get rid of it. Pain in the *** and I lost out on the 20 or so keys I already collected, enough to unlock all the fancy silver cases. I checked the Reddit page and Disney was aware of it but by the time they would get around to fixing it, the event would be over. Oh well.
Super Mario Run – iOS
In honor of the release of Super Mario on the Switch there was some freebie goodies Run players
They're statues for your Super Mario Land but they're cool to have. I think there are others but I might have to play the regular game to unlock them but I already completed it and I'm into playing the remix portion.
Pickups!
Games
Steam had this game on sale right before they pulled it from their store so I jumped on it because it was the same price I was going to buy it on Black Friday.
I also bought the $2 DLC because it was $2 and it said it added more to the game after I finish it.
Music
I bought a CD from Target and I had one brought to me from Hawaii
Yep Taylor Swift. I like it, and I did the angry Taylor Swift. The other CD is Anuhea which is a Pop/Hawaiian Reggae-ish singer from Hawaii. I liked her music for a couple of years now, and originally I found it on a music blog site. After that I've been buying her CDs. The only I don't have is her Christmas Album because for some reason it kept crashing my iTunes.
Hot Wheels
The first set of cars
I found more of this car but I can't find the one with the Justice League logo on the top left.
I opened one of them up to place next to the other Batmobiles I opened that sit at the base of my TV.
I bought this car for my cousin
This is hard to find around here, and I'm assuming its because of Reseller guy. He probably has the Justice League Batmobiles too.
Here's some cars I think you'll dig because they're video game related
I found I think the second wave of Forza Hot Wheels. I know there is some special box set that I'm not going to get because I'm not that into Hot Wheels but it's a nice set, and I missed the previous release with the black cards.
Here is the top of one of the cars
It has X-Box Branding as well as the Forza Motorsport name. I might go back and buy another set just to open and maybe place them next to my Batmobiles.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. Have a good week!
That's all for now, more later!
