Searching for Time

It's funny.

All I want to do is talk about videogames, but I am not playing them enough to feel confident talking about any of the ones that I am working through. I am trying to get a little bit of gaming in, but it's all dependant on Ingrid. On Wednesday, I was up at 400am to feed her, and was able to get about an hour into Wolfenstein II. The first big story beat was INSANE, now all I want to do is play more Wolfenstein, but I can't swing taking the TV in the evening... especially if I am trying to play a game as brutal as Wolfenstein.

A quick look back at 2017 in gaming. I think that I have all the games that I REALLY want to play from 2017 except Super Mario Odyssey. I am hoping to get that for Christmas. Over Black Friday, I grabbed The Evil Within 2, Death of the Outsider, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Nex Machina.
The only game that I really want to finish up before the end of the year at the moment is Wolfenstein II. I think that I may start slowing down with Breath of the Wild, just so that I have time to play plenty of smaller/shorter games that I want to play.

That is all I have for the moment. Hopefully I will have played a little more of anything before I return.

What I've heard about Wolfenstein scares me a little bit, but I will play it. I can't wait.

Yeah, all my podcasts talked about the difficulty. that scares me, especially since I was able to beat the first one on the highest difficulty setting.

It was the story elements that scared me a bit. They don't hold back at all.

Man, you beat the last one on the top difficulty level? Good for you. I didn't. I think I got stuck in that giant warehouse area, or was it a hanger bay.

I think that I had an easier time on the final boss than I did in that hanger bay on the highest difficulty.

Just saw there's a free trial of Wolfy II up on Xbox. Oh my, I'm going to download that tomorrow first thing (Wednesday is my day off).

I think 4am might have to be your Wolfenstein time. It's good to read you picked up some games during Black Friday especially Horizon. I know there were a couple of store around my town that ran out.
