Chrono Trigger has some of the best music in a videogame that I've ever heard. I always liked Schala's theme the best. I need to play this game again soon. It's been forever, and it's my favorite rpg ever. This song was great. Thanks Philip!
Internet Woes and OCR Spotlight: 600 A.D. in Piano

So I was all ready to put up the OCR Spotlight yesterday but I got home and discovered we had no internet! Well, we had a signal coming to our modem and our wifi network strength was great but none of our devices--computers, tablets, phones, game consoles--could connect to the internet. The Comcast people were dumbfounded when their little bag of fix-it tricks didn't work and so were no help at all. My apologies if any of you work for Comcast but we've had nothing but trouble from them over the last year. They are the only company that offers internet in our area, though, so we've had to just deal with it Anyway, so I couldn't post this yesterday. I'm actually trying to fit this into little chunks of available time while at work because we still have no working internet at home. So let's get to the music!
From: Chrono Trigger
Remixed by: kLuTz
As you might be able to guess from the title, this is a solo piano remix. The source song, "The Wind Scene," is a popular one to remix. In fact, I think I have four different piano remixes of it, all quite different. But this one's my favorite, I think. It's very accessible and easy to listen to but doesn't sacrifice any smart arranging to achieve that. It's starts out fairly slow and simple and adds complexity and variety as the song progresses, so that even the repetitions of the melody never bore. Things really pick up about two thirds of the way through and it just gets more and more interesting. For me this is very much like musical comfort food. I can listen to this and the other few remixes by kLuTz over and over without tiring of them. It's quite good and the quality of the recording is superb. Hope you like it
