Super Mario World was the game I played the second most growing up.

F-Zero was a fun one to rent at hotels if my dad had a trip for work.

Good times. Bare bones today because I'm on my phone and going to see Shape of Water in 30 minutes, so no real time to go to my Office and use computer there.

I may make a blog about the NES games I couldn't mention

I'm glad I have a SNES now I got from a friend of mine. I'm going to start it up sometime and revisit some stuff.

1991 was a great year for games.  I got a SNES two weeks before it came out officially, and Super Mario World, ActRaiser, and FF4 were tops.

Never played those other two.

I played the snot out of SMW growing up. It was really the only game I had on it for a couple years. I used to rent games a lot when video stores were a thing.

I miss blockbuster for games mostly. I still don't consider there to be an equivalent in terms of selection and convenience.

My friends were weirded out by something that happens but I really liked it. Great visuals and cute love story. Some allegory about misfits and such. Don't take your parents to it.

I spent more time with SMB3 than SMW. When I got my SNES, it came bundled with A Link to the Past. Now that game I played the hell out of. I still do. Surprisingly, I've never played a F-Zero game.

I actually couldn't stand LttP as a kid. The fantasy aesthetic was a huge turn off and something I found too nerdy .. Yup.

Fantasy games were really a niche item back then. The only real mainstream success as far as fantasy games went at the time was Zelda. I've always liked swords and sorcery fantasy games, though ironically, I was never a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings.

In 1991 I was turning 2. No video games for me :(

Ya know I wanna see that movie but I was told something disturbing and Im just kinda not sure now. I might see it once it is on rental.
