Is this the one you can put actual genesis cartridges in or no? That one sounds great, but not if it has so many issues.
Bad # 8- Genesis Flashback!

On this my 8th blog I am going to conclude my trip down memory lane with the final flashback. This of course being the Genesis Flashback. And boy oh boy...have I heard some things. While I myself have a perfectly fine working emulator on my Xbox, ATGames pulled a whoopsie on the Genesis Flashback. Many reviews sight glaring emulation isssues with horrible sound inputs, graphic and input delay, as well as an uninspiring user interface.
While the offer of 85 games is tempting spanning across both genesis and game gear games there are other better collections out there. While sitting at 30 games fewer, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3/Xbox 360 is considered one of the great gaming collections on the cheap today.
Now of course there are some serious titles missing from these gaming collections. Sure you got some terrific hits, but you know there seems to be some games missing in these collections. Notable Genesis games missing in action are as follows: Out Run, Zero Wing (Home of the popular gaming meme All You Base Are Belong To Us), Splatterhouse, Dynamite Headdy, Toe Jam & Earl, etc. Also missing from this list are two of my personal favorite Genesis games in Landstalker: The Treasur of King Nole and General Chaos two games I had a blast playing as a kid. Landstalker was Sega's closest answer to Zelda and my brother and I would would play each other in General Chaos all afternoon. It was so fun to go about shooting each other with bazookas, machine pistols, flamethrowers, or just good old fashioned rock, paper, scissors fisticuffs.
All in all it's been a lot of fun going back down memory lane. Going through my list of emulators is quite the feat. I still have more I haven't even talked about yet. But Coming up next I'll be discussing some Nintendo game buys! Gamecube, Wii shovelware, Switch, and others I'm looking forward to in the future! What are some of your classic Genesis/Megadrive memories? As alwasy thanks for reading!
