When I started up Night in the Woods last night it kinda hit a sad/senstive spot for me. The main characters granddad had passed away. My grandpa died on Valentines day 8 years ago. It definitely hit a note for me, which isnt bad by any means but I just couldnt believe on the anniversary of his death I played a game that would hit a little hard in the feelings department. Ive long since accepted he is gone but I cant help but think of him on Valentines day.

Overall Im enjoying Night in the Woods. Its kept my attention and I wanna finish it. I suck at the guitar playing parts*think guitar hero* but with practice Im getting better. Its making me think of my early 20s. I was Mae to some degree during that part of my life. Ive come some degree from that but Im still flawed and still a pain in the ass in certain area's. Ive accepted though Im as good as Im probably gonna get being 28 years old.

This game is striking cords I thought long dead.

"Wheel me out to the curb for garbage day"-Mae AKA me when I was 20,lol

That makes two people on this site with family members who passed on Valentine's ... actually, I think my grandma either passed or had some sort of medical scare on Valentine's as well years ago (I only ever saw her in the hospital when I was young, so this is why I can't remember exactly). What is it with that holiday?

I can't wait to play Night in the Woods ... except for the fact I'll probably complete Yakuza 0 before dedicating time to ANYTHING else, but still. It does seem to be aimed at people around our age from what I've heard about it.

I swear Night in the Woods will have you thinking about your early 20s. I cant believe how much it has brought back to my memory. I bought Yakuza Kiwami and if I enjoy it I plan to play 0 next. Im hoping I can play the new one that releases this year if I havent played the others in the series.

Valentines Day for some odd reason is just a tough holiday. Heartbreak seems to just follow it rampantly.

I plan on playing Kiwami at some point because of how much I love 0, but 0 will keep me busy for a while. I really want to play 6, but apparently the main plots in these games are pretty intricate.

I liked the trailer.

The trailer grabbed me from the get go. I would have played it before now but I literally held my ground for the Switch release.
