I've managed to get a little gaming in over the last few days because this was a long weekend in Canada and my friend who manages a local EB Games talked me into buying the Secret of Mana remake on Friday.
I'm having fun with it so far but there are annoying little issues like the two other members of my team getting stuck running into walls or just plain not following and once the game shut down with an error telling me to go find an update file which didn't exist.
Other than that the only other thing that passes for gaming is Animal Crossing Pocket Camp which I play to take my mind of things.
I'm trying to learn some new software to keep myself relevant at work. I have a long way to go.
That's it for me.
What's the new software? I've been teaching basic/intro courses for so long, I really need to up my game when it comes to learning new tech and techniques in my field. Every time I think to get on that, I remember the grading pile that stacked up.
That's too bad about Secret of Mana's issues, but Animal Crossing does sound like a nice relaxer.
I'm in the Identity and Access Management field dealing with everything from multi-factor authentication and single sign on to user provisioning across multiple systems and privileged access management (auditing computer systems to make sure no one has any access they shouldn't have.)
The new stuff I'm learning is from Ping Identity.
Still need to play Secret of Mana. Always looked at it with yearning but never got to it.

After I'm done with Lost Sphear, I'm going to tackle the Secret of Mana remake next. I got the physical copy version at GameStop.

I hear mixed things about the SoM update. A lot of stuff they took out and changed didn't sit well with people, and I hear that the remixed soundtrack sucked, but you can use the original version. I hope that the Mana Collection comes out in the US, because I would like to play an official localized version of Seiken Densetsu 3 on my Switch.

I'm glad you're enjoying Animal Crossing. I couldn't get into it but I'm excited to see what Nintendo does with their mobile Mariokart.
