Toys R Us is doing a sale on Lego Dimensions are they? I might have to stop by there. I want the Doctor Who one.
I hit a few 5 Below stores the other day. There were no Lego Dimensions but I got a Skylanders adventure pack I didn't have for $5.

Pixlpeeps it’s Friday, I’ve been out all day and I am back home and ready to relax, watch TV, and of course update you on the randoms going on here in my little piece of Southern California. BaD has been a lot of fun but I’m glad it’s almost over because well it’s a lot of work (you folks know) and I do like my Monday/Friday setup. Anyways let’s get back to some Quick Hits!
Chris And His Switch Saga
So today I was ready to buy one. I got the green light from the Coin Can Rule and when I got to the store I wasn’t jazzed. So I walked out without buying one. I figure it will be time for me to get one, when I really want to get one. Maybe something will click in the future because I want to play Gear Club Unlimited, and Super Mario Hat (I have no idea what the actual name is). I can wait a bit for Mariokart (like maybe a week after I buy the handheld) so it will be a bit before I buy one.

So I’m getting back into the audiobook groove with Dan Brown’s Origin. It’s another installment in the Robert Langdon series and I just started but it sounds like it’s going to be good. I haven’t loaded up the comic book reader on the iPad in a while, but I should because I still need to get back to the first 10 issues of the Fantastic Four, and I have the Infinity Wars stuff on a list ready to go once I finish off the 10 issues.
On another note I’m starting to look at the Kindle Paperwhite tablet. Don’t get me wrong I like having everything in the iPad, but I might get through more books if I went with a dedicated reader.

The Olympics of course! It’s all about Team USA and the random small countries that normally don’t compete in the winter games, just like the women’s Bobsled team from Jamaica. This is also the time to enjoy Curling.
Celebrity Big Brother has been fun to watch and its nice to see people actually playing the game instead of listening to one yahoo who will end up losing the game. Also it has been so nice to watch a Diary Room where the house guest isn’t being obnoxious and yelling. Thank You Omarosa! Speaking of Omarosa, she is so much fun to watch as the villain on this show because she never gets loud and has managed to stay in the game.

Podcasts, just podcasts. I’ve listened to some new albums and I don’t really care about. I was supposed to pick up a couple of albums today but I bought something big, so I put off buying the two CDs until I get paid next week.
Random
The county fair is coming to an end this weekend and I made my yearly pilgrimage to do the one thing I normally do: eat crazy food. This year the BBQ spot was somehow really good but the onion rings were really oily which gave me a stomach ache. Also the fried zucchini looked like they just cut a zucchini into fours, dipped in batter and fried. I took a small break from Lent to eat ribs, but for dinner I went back to eating fish. After checking out the hall that showcases local agriculture it was time to leave so I hit the one spot where I normally buy dessert and I picked this up
I got a big ass maple bacon donut with a Lego Homer Simpson for scale.

Games
Ok so Origin has a sale and I bought Titanfall 2. I think I have it for PS2 but I never installed it, but now I also have a copy on PC. I had to uninstall some Steam games to make room on the Steam drive but it is there and hopefully this weekend I’ll have a chance to play.
I went to my third 99 Cents Only store and I finally found these Lego Dimensions minifigures
I got the Hoff and the other Powerpuff Girl. I almost broke down and bought these two at Toys R Us because they’re under $10 with the discount right now, but I’m glad I waited. I complete the Powerpuff Girls set and I have KITT and his human.
Instead of buying the Switch today I bought this
This is my second 4TB drive of the year and this one is for the travel laptop. Remember the travel laptop? Well instead of the 1TB drive I went for the big 4TB because it can also hold some media like TV Shows and Movies…but mostly it will be home to my Musicbee library.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I am currently copying the 800 GB from the old drive to the new drive (a little under 3 hours left!) and Speed Skating is on. Have a good weekend!
