GLaD it's Spring Break

I came to my office to post midterm grades, but apparently the university's website is down for maintenance, so I guess it'll have to wait.

My parents apparently had some plumbing trouble and so we won't do as much travelling as initially planned. Honestly, while plumbing issues are never good, that's fine by me, since I kinda prefer being lazy on breaks to "let's do something so we can say we had fun" anyway. My dad still wants to go to one of the towns, just not the farther out ones.

I did run 5.3 miles and help someone move earlier, so not a total waste. Now to clean my bedroom and bathroom at some point ... one of those jobs I'm dreading because it seems like a big task. I'm not a total slob, but I don't do enough regular cleaning either, so ... oof.

As far as gaming, I predict I'll be playing through Yakuza Kiwami and maybe getting some more Night in the Woods trophies as I did this week. If anything changes, it'll probably be finishing up Horizon: Zero Dawn, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Gravity Rush 2, or some other 2017 game I'm still working on.

I'll check in periodically, I'm sure.

Don't forget to "spring forward." UGH.

Yeah, daylight savings.  We don't do it here in Arizona, but still the time of tv programs change and other people are in different times that we have to acknowledge.

Running five miles is terrific!

Well, "running," but I covered the distance.

I didn't know AZ was exempt ...

they vote against it anytime some person tries to reenact it. People are crazy here.

I think people trying to re-instate a law that loses everyone an hour of sleep are a very good argument for euthanasia.

I mean I'm not being serious, but the thought would cross my mind.

I think I'm going to bump up Horizon Zero Dawn from "really want to play" to "must play". Guerrilla Games is a favorite developer of mine, so it should enter that hallowed hall.

It's a gorgeous game, if nothing else. I really want to finish it, but the combat on normal can be trying and for some reason I feel weird about setting it on easy after coming this far.

I keep forgetting you have a PS4 now, cause you seem to be XBOX primarily.

I forget I have a PS4 sometimes, but it's right there next to my Xbox One. I have Horizon Zero Dawn and have played a few hours of it. I liked it a lot and will get back to it. Once I'm done with Odin's Sphere. Gonna shoot some robots in the eye.

Good job on that run. I remember when I first hit five miles and even though I was slow as molasses doing it, felt accomplished. Now I can do 9 miles at a 7:15 pace, so just make sure to keep at it man. Also every time I see Crash now I get super giddy that it's coming to the Switch.

My biggest running achievement is a 5K in 23:35, but I don't think that's something I can do without the pressure of a thesis defense coming up. lol Great job on the pace; I'm lucky if I can get to a 10:00.

That's a great game for mobile play. I still wish this industry didn't have exclusives. It's one of those things where I can say I hate this about the video game industry all I want, but if someone has the best exclusives for me, I'll buy their hardware. Sure, it keeps things competitive, but there are still different Blu Ray players on the market. Oh well.

I used to hate the time change but this year I'm ok with it. Odd. Yeah I don't think there's a big trip instore for me either this year but there might be one early next year so that should be fun and something to look forward to.

Speaking of cleaning I need to start that and I'll start with slimming down my record collection. I like the format, but I have no real attachment to it like I do with CDs.
