I've never played the older Tomb Raider games, but I like the recent ones and want to see the movie.

Tomb Raider was a game I tried to beat countless times. As it was the controls were tanky and the game's concept was great. But it was so rough around the edges that playing it was a nightmare.
I gave up on it with PC controls. I was young and dumb. Fast forward to Tomb Raider 2. Also, tanky controls. Ah ha! But this time a primitve red and blue game pad. Do you remember those?

I am not sure how to actually put the picture down.I don't get this word press system.
Either way the controller was way better but Tomb Raider 2 was amazingly hard. It was 1997 and I was 10. So there ya go. I gave up again.
Two days a go I beat Tomb Raider for the PS4 and it was amazing. I was so happy to complete another game from a series, I have never beaten. The story was great. But the gameplay was even better. Laura gets the literall shit kicked out of her which is just brutal. But it is a story interwoven with this underlying current, survive. And what a crazy take on this huge influential franchise. This IP was very worth it. The environments were something else. I am blown away by high graphical fidelity.
The world in which she tries to survive is ruthless. But the optional caves are even cooler. At one point I just randomly explored some cave for treasure. The puzzles were not so bad either. In T1 and T2 they were like a what the fuck is this...puzzle.
From 1997 till now. Iam yet again excited once more to put another game in the ground. :)
