The Marvel Strike Force thing looked interesting, but I am a console gamer only and that just isn't going to change for anything requiring more than a handful of MB.
More Gaming On iPad/Phone

Up until last night I haven’t used Steam. Heck the only console I actually used was the PS3. The majority of my gaming has been on the iPad, with a sprinkling of games on the phone. I really wasn’t in the mood to click on the Steam icon, or connect my external Steam drive but when I came up with a new logo for my NBA 2K team I had a decent reason to use Steam…also to install some new games but let’s talk about the iPad games
Marvel Strike Force - iPad
More of the same for me. There is a new Deadpool event and I played through the first section but the second part was out of my league, and the new section is also out of my league so I guess no Deadpool for me unless I spend real money. This isn’t going to happen, but I am happily grinding through the daily challenges, upgrading my roster (mainly the Top 5 follks) and beating other users teams. Well the teams that are lower in rank. Hopefully by the time the next new event rolls around I should have enough characters to actually take part.
Disney Heroes Battle Mode - iPad
Have you ever wanted a Marvel Strike Force but with Disney Properties and don’t want to constantly have to push buttons? Well this game is for you! Battle Mode is like the super beginner version of Strike Force where the characters actually do all the work. The only time you jump in is when you activate their special move by hitting their glowing icon. You have all the usual modes as well as unlockable sections that seem to stretch the game play time.
There is your campaign where you earn gold, badges, power containers (they look like Sprite cans), character tokens, and raid tickets. All of these can upgrade your characters and raise your player level. The campaign is split into three levels, where the first level is all the stuff mentioned, the second harder level has character icons, and I don’t know what the third level is because I haven’t unlocked it. I’m assuming its the hardest level but you get tons of stuff that is useful.
The other sections are guild where you work together with other players to unlock goodies by checking in, lending out a character, and other randoms. Arena is where you move up a leader board by fighting teams of other users. There are different levels of this and I quickly rose to a point where now I’m the goldfish in the ocean of sharks. I may have rose too quickly. There are also the usuals of store, check-in, and other battles against AI.
Battle Mode is a cute game and after playing Marvel Strike Force, it is fun to load this game, continue with the crazy grinding action, and try to unlock new characters. Since this is a freemium game there is a special VIP section where you get premium diamonds, more XP, more power to play more games, and other bonuses including a special chat room. Again, if I need to spend money on this game I’ll stop playing and move back to games I actually paid for.
Disney Emoji Blitz - iOS
This past week was a Hercules Event where there were new emojis from the movie. In the main event the character to unlock was Hades. I really didn’t want to play this event but I wanted the special character so I played just enough to unlock the emoji and then I went back to trying to hit Level 200 for the uber special emoji (I’m currently on Level 119).
I got Hades, and I’m good. There should be a whole new crop of new emojis next week so I need to hurry and do some playing so I can hit 120 before the next event.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. Have a good week!
That’s all for now, more later!
