I would like to say that I’ve been more creative with the games I’ve played over the past week, but it has been more of the same with me, except I did throw in some Switch gaming last night while watching parts of the Stanley Cup Finals/Raw/the local news. I really should dive into the Steam library and play some of the stuff I have installed but haven’t touched, and heck finish the games I already started. That is my current situation.

 

NCAA Football 14 - PS3

I am in my 4^th season with Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, scheduling out of conference games with the lower teams from the Mountain West Conference and the team hasn’t lost. The Bulldogs are in the National Title game with Nebraska. Last season the Bulldogs ran over the University Of Michigan and now they face another Big Ten team riding on the back of a Superstar Back to Back Heisman Trophy Winning Running Back, whose only a sophomore. I think next season will be his last season with La Tech and he will probably turn pro. It’s not a bad deal considering I just recruited the #1 QB in the nation, #4 Running Back in the nation, and have a squad of WR’s who are fast. The offense should be fine.

 

Riptide Renegade - Switch

I finished another group of races while watching TV, and started the next series. I wish I could tell you which section I am in but I really haven’t been paying attention. The only thing that is different is right now I’m still racing as a robot instead of a human pilot.

 

NBA 2K18 - Steam

I started the playoffs with my created team and they swept the first round, and they are now in the second round against I believe the Portland Trailblazers. I need to finish the season ASAP so I can get to work rebuilding the team. I want to get rid of a couple of players and I am hoping to find the future SG, SF/PF, and C in this year’s draft. I have three picks in the first round, but if I can move Chris Paul and maybe one or two of my 1^st Round picks this year or next year in exchange for a Top 10 pick, I will. PG is the one position I have a ton of depth.

 

Marvel Strike Force - iOS

I’m still playing this game and I think I am currently sitting at Level 51. I haven’t switch Alliances because I like being the big fish in the small pond. It probably hurts my progression because the other highest players are 3-5 levels below me, its fun to not have to worry about missing out on Raids. I just unlocked the Hulk so it’s been all about constantly promoting him so he could be in either my 1^st or 2^nd squad. Right now he sits in the 3^rd tier squad.

 

Disney Heroes Battle Mode - iOS

So I broke my rule about using real money. I spent $3.00 on a 30 day subscription where I get something like 130 diamonds, 40 raid tickets, and I get bumped to VIP 3 status which means I get an extra slot for upgrades. Once the 30 days are up I can still keep my VIP 3 status which isn’t bad. I figured .10 cents a day to help upgrade my squad isn’t bad and if I decide I want to continue the VIP numbers stack and I can slowly move up the food chain. I have a solid group and I quickly moved up the Arena (the arena where you face other users teams to earn goodies) and I am currently sitting in the 2^nd from the bottom group of tiers.

 

Other Stuff

- So Madden was announced with TO as a Cowboy on the cover and it will be on the PS4 and X1. No word if its on the Switch. I’m just going to assume the Switch will not have Madden which sucks. If EA can make a garbage mobile version of the game, it can make a slimmed down version for the Switch. Hell FIFA and NBA 2K are on the dang thing.

-I need to get back into Horizon Chase on the iPad. I bought/beat it a while ago, but I started playing it again when I saw that it was available on Steam for $20. It’s a fun game and reminiscent of games like Rad Racer. Heck this would be a good game on the Switch.

-While waiting for Mario Tennis I saw that there is a Tournament game available on the Switch where you can play others to get you into the Mario Tennis mood. I might give this a spin.
