New Pokemon Games

I honestly am not a big fan of Pokemon Go. Im thinking about giving it another chance to hopefully help me lose weight so Ill go out and walk everyday but it just didnt pick up with me when it originally launched. So while Im not super interested in the Go aspects but Im still really excited and freaking happy for this announcement. I started with Pokemon Yellow so going back to Kanto and having the starters be Pikachu and Eevee really hit a lot of emotional points for me. I know Im probably getting the Eevee edition. I went through Yellow with Pikachu so Im going with Eevee in this game.

Im actually still playing Yellow on my 3DS. Ive taken a big break from it but I think im going to jump back on and have it finished before these release.

Im hoping you like it! Id love to see more people enjoy Pokemon and with a new core title coming next year this would be a great time to try it!

I don't think I will use the Go or the Ball features but I will add this to my library. I wonder if the Pokebank from the 3DS will carry over because I have a decent lineup of Pokemon in there.

I doubt Ill use the Go features terribly much either but I know Im getting the pokeball. I cant help myself. Ya know It would be a real shame for them not to bring it over and Im kinda thinking they will. Its been a pretty popular tool for pokemon players. I figure though if it doesnt come with these 2 titles, it probably will with the core titles coming next year.

I hope the new game doesn't rely TOO much on you having to have already played Pokemon GO, as I never have downloaded that on my phone. Two reasons why: One, my phone is too old. And two, when i'm out and about, I don't like to have my nose buried in my phone. I like to be a little more aware of my surroundings. Especially since I've been blind in my left eye since birth and can't see as well around me. But the new game does look interesting. I hope I can check it out at E3!

I only wish it was called "Pokemon: Let's Go, Snorlax!"

Cary I didnt use Go really that much either so I understand. I think the Go features will be pretty much "Use if you want to" type stuff. I know catching pokemon is similar with no wild pokemon battles but you dont have to walk around to catch them in the real world so you should be good on that front.

But if they did call it that, you wouldnt go anywhere because Snorlax sleeps so much.

Cool. Connecting a console game to a phone version is what I want to see more on XBO and PS4. That's super cool. Keep that wrist strap on that Pokeball though. Danger Will Robinson, danger!
