I'm liking it a lot so far. 

It's a great game.  I loved it on the PS4.  I sitll like Ys Seven a little better, though.

Only problem I had with Ys 8 is I felt it got a bit overbloated.  Plus, you'll want to make sure to do all the sidequests you can to get the best ending.

My brother described Ys 8 best when he said it was "Jurassic Park: The JRPG."

I think you can fail SOME sidequests, just not very many.

I just ranted a whole heap about what I disliked about this game, but at the end of the day I still loved it would seriously love that edition on switch!

 On a side note though... our dollar is only 2 cents to the dollar weaker than cdn, yet for me that edition is still $119. I feel like I'm going to need to just stop eating to play video games soon.

Nah I'm fine when we pay more due to the conversion rate, as that's fair. its just when there's extra charged on top of it that I get annoyed. I hear Canadians have to put up with some bs related to gaming as well though.

The only thing we can complain about right now is the value of the CAD. Makes games more expensive depending on each Province's minimum wage. If we're considering that the majority of people that buy games are working on minimum wage.

It was 79.96 CAD but since I ordered it the day before it was releases I got another 8 bucks off. Then after delivery they had lowered the price to 74.96 so they gave me that back too. :)

Still it's $59.96 for those in the US but since I now get paid in US dollars converted to Canadian I guess I didn't do so badly.
