Went antiquing with my wife. What did I see?

Went antiquing with my wife yesterday and found some interesting things.

Here we have a Radio Shack TRS-80.

Also found this IMac right across from it in the same booth.

And finally a Smith Corona portable electric typewriter.

I did not buy any of them. One reason being I did not have $300 to drop. I have a Security + voucher to buy, lol.

So, what do y'all think of my finds? Would you buy them? I did find games online for the TRS-80.

Later,

Homeless

$300 for a TRS80?  What the hell do they expect people to do with it??

Surprisingly there are some games for it but beyond that just a collectors piece. I mean how well will those 5 1/4 disks hold up? I would at best pay $100 for it, that being my high number. I've looked at some of the games and they are going for $25 to $60+.

I need to look at my stuff and see if I have any rare tech or cards ... that's basically what I got out of this cause of those prices.

The typewriter is the only one with the reasonable price on it. That was in a different booth though. I would at most $100 for the TRS-80 but I checked on games for the system and they are between $25 to $65+. I know I don’t old tech laying around if I did I would be reasonable if I wanted to sell it.

My family had a TRS-80 when I was a kid. I have a TRS-80 emulator on my computer now. It had some pretty great games, including good knockoffs of Scramble (Penetrator) and Galaxian (Galaxy Invasion), and a few unique gems like Bee Wary.

I went to an antiques store in Camp Verde, AZ that's been there since I was a kid. It used to be a carpet warehouse. That's the town my grandparents lived in before they passed away. I found a hand-pump that I think belonged to them at one time, so I bought it. I also saw some faucets that you screw a liquor bottle into and use it to pour the liquor.

That is awesome! I’ve priced some of the games for it and they are between $25 to $60+. What do you think of the price on it? I would maybe give $100 for it.

Thats cool that you found the hand pump. I love going with my wife and looking at the stuff. I always find something from my childhood or that old cassette I lost back when.

I'm curious about the games on old PCs. I had an Apple IIc back then but only the Wizardry series for it. Not $100 though. Old thing like that. I'll give 'em $20 for the PC and a box full of games. Ha!

Lol. Yeah, I think they are hoping for someone that doesn't check the value or it brings back nostalgia for someone.
