I decided not to buy Octopath. As I was telling Joaquim, I'm just worried I'm gonna buy it and not play it, like I did Ni No Kuni and a ton of other games lately. I did get six hours into Ni No Kuni 2, but then I just stopped. I want to play it, I just have a hard time tearing myself away from my writing. I'm very work obsessed. So, while I want to play Octopath, I decided to be prudent. However, I AM going to buy Spiderman and Dragon Quest 11 when they come out. I've been waiting for both of these for a very long time.

I got my Lego set but I haven't set it up yet. When I do, I'll show you what I got.

I've been writing a short story about Ray Bradbury to go with my collection of stories about writers. I'm about halfway done. After this I have three more stories to write and then the collection will be done - except for editing and revising of course!

In other news, it's hot here, and it's been humid cause it's been raining a little, which is not a good combination. It's been a little uncomfortable. Mostly I hide in the air conditioning.

Anyway, that's about it. I hope all of you are doing great!

Honestly, I can’t see paying $60 for Octopath, $39 I’m sold. I played the demo and really liked it but lately I’ve been put off by the price of some of these Switch games coming out. I think some of the Indy titles coming out on the shop have been a bit better than the physical releases from the top pubs. That’s just my opinion though.

I‘ve put off getting a PS4 several times, other things come up. I want GoW and NI NO Kuni 2, plus I want to play Uncharted 4.

We’ve had a small break today from the heat but that’s not going to last long.

im the same, switch prices can be a bit ludicrous. And they never come down in price! At least physically.

yeah, it's too expensive. I might have made a different decision if it was only 50 bucks. Well, maybe they'll have a digital sale eventually. We'll see.

I've heard God of War is really great, man.

God of War is pretty great. Has it's fair share of problems, but mainly in the side content. The main story stuff so far I still excellent!

I almost bought it on Saturday but wound up buying Captain Toad again even though I have the Wii U version. It's fun to play it undocked at the kitchen table. Apparently they are having a hard time keeping retail copy Octopath in stores. I did see some at Walmart on the weekend but they are gone now.

I haven't gotten Octopath or Ni no Kuni 2 either. Just don't have time for big long RPGs right now. I hate that, but it is what it is.

I haven't gotten it yet. I got Shining Resonance Refrain for Switch instead, because I've wanted it for a long time since the Japan-only PS3 version came out, it came with a steel case, and it was only $49. With a couple of trade-ins I only paid $16.

And yeah, it is humid here. My GF and I both sweat constantly in this humidity. I haven't seen anything like this since I lived in Oklahoma.

yeah the humidity is definitely rough. I was in Oklahoma a few years ago during the summer and you're right, that shit is hellish. Had an earthquake too that night....

I need to figure out where to hook up my PS4 again. I've got my XBO and a place for retro stuff. I can't imagine unhooking my XBO for PS4 right now. How would I keep up with the latest Games with Gold freebies. I need a three tiered cabinet instead of a two tiered one.
