I haven't been gaming much, but I've been thinking about it. I've been wanting to go back to Ni No Kuni 2, but also to some older games like Andromeda and Final Fantasy XV, both of which I haven't finished. Actually, I moved my 40" TV over to a half-bookshelf in my room so I can see it when I lie on my couch (I can't see my big TV from there, cause the couch faces it), so I'm hoping it will motivate me to play some games. I always get more relaxed when I play games, but it's hard to turn my writing mind off.

Joaquim has been telling me about Octopath and it seems very cool. I just love how that game looks. It was made in the Unreal Engine, if you can believe that so it has really good lighting. Pretty funny for a retro JRPG.

Mothman put me up for the Ten Day Game Challenge on Facebook and I've been thinking about what games I'm gonna post about. Obviously, the big ones are KOTOR2, Final Fantasy IX, Strider, Bionic Commando, and Super Mario 64. But there's a couple left after that.

I really don't play my Switch enough either, and I love that thing. Kinda amazed I beat Mario though. I must be good for something... :)

I’m going to wait on Octopath to drop in price before I get it. As for gaming, I’m trying my best to finish Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but I’m studying for my Security + recert. That is taking a good bit of my time, honest  that’s why there has been Metal Monday’s the past couple of Monday’s.

I got Xenoblade 2 but didn't get far before I got distracted. I'd like to get back into it though, I liked what I played.

Good luck on your recertification.

Thanks. I wish Xenoblade 2 had a guide, some of these pouch items get me confused and seem to not work when you use them.

I so want Ni No Kuni II right now. Argh. When am I going to figure out this job thing? I've got no expendable income at the moment.

It's a great game. You still going to school?

Yea. I'm supposed to do another year of IT stuff but I want a FT job so badly right now. I'd rather work full time and then take a class or two on the side and not worry about what degree. I want to try a lot of stuff and see what I like. I came super close to having a FT job a month ago but the county wouldn't let me transfer before I had worked my present job for 6 months. So that'll be in November. I'll look for something in the county then. But I want to look for something now, so that's what I'm going to do in August when I have a break. As well as play some video games. Oh yes.

I just bought Octopath since I heard it was getting kind of hard to find.  So hopefully I can find time to play it later.

My top five favorite games of all time are Pac-Man, FF6, Animal Crossing (GC), Super Mario Kart (SNES), and the Namco Museums on PSOne.  I don't know if I can do five more to make ten.

Oh cool.

I'm sure you could think of more games than that!!!

I did a ten album challenge and a seven book challenge. Guess I'll do the others as well.

Im currently playing Octopath and its getting challenging. Im still on Chapter 3 with 4 of the characters while the other 4 are at Chapter 4. I would have had Tressa's done but the boss killed my party last minute and he was almost dead*I died a little on the inside right there*. The grinding is the only thing kinda bleh. Ys 8 let all your party members gain Xp and level even if they werent being used at that time so I got kinda spoiled on that....

I haven't touched my Switch much either. I powered it up last week to download Paladins and play some Riptide GP. Heck I have no idea where I put the power brick, but it's a good thing it uses a USB C port so I can charge it with cables around the house.

yeah they were pretty smart about doing that. I'd like to play it more, it's a great system, just been busy.
