July Manga and Games

So how was everyones July? Too hot? I know mine fucking was. The heat as been ridiclous in Texas and Im hoping we are gonna cool down starting in August. I actually was going on regular walks and playing Pokemon Go for awhile but then 109 and 110 temps hit and I was like no thanks! Ill stay in doors like the hermit I am most of the time. I did get quite a bit in the hobbies department this month!

Games wise I got way more than I did last month. However only one of them Ive played. Can you guess what game it is, Ill give you a hint. It has eight paths that each drive you insane.

I didnt buy Sonic Mania when it originally launched so I guess I lucked out. Code of Princess I bought on 3DS and loved it. I didnt finish it though so Im ready to dive back in on Switch. That is when Octopath Traveler releases me from its grip. I almost have everyone to Chapter 4. Primrose is the only one still on 3 however....the boss is proving to be a big pain in the ass. I have several characters above level 40 but he is still kicking my ass. Will I prevail today?....I dont know.

Manga didnt see much in continueing other series but I got some new stuff. One was even a one shot called Mushroom Girls in Love. Next month there is a lot coming out. I did scale back on some of that because 3 are light novels that I havent even read the first volumes. So Im not buying them till I atleast read their first and probaly 2 books.

Well thats it for stuff I bought. Im about to write and post my thoughts and feelings on YS 8. I beat it this month and I got some things to say. Pretty much all good stuff but stuff none the less!

I plan on picking up Sonic Mania next month. I have to shell out some bucks for certification voucher tomorrow so I’m spent on extras for a few weeks.

My oldest is getting into Manga now. She robbed my collection, lol.

Your raising that child right! Lol! Sorry she robbed you! Maybe you can thief them back once she reads them. To be fair.....I took books from my dad so its a common thing,lol.

Maybe by the time you get Sonic maybe Ill have played my copy!

By waiting your giving the library of Switch titles to build which is a good thing. When you pick one up you will be in for some awesome as hell recommendations! Octopath is definitely one of those.

I just looked up Sonic Mania Plus and the cover is reversable to a Sega Genesis cover? That is freaking cool. It also sounds like a good collection of Sonic games.

The reversible cover is really nice. I also like the little artbook it came with. Its super small but the drawings in it are awesome.

I got to get Sonic Mania. I like 2D Sonic games, probably cause I grew up with them. I had some good times with Sonic as a kid.

I enjoyed the sega gensis and dreamcast era of sonic games. Heck I played the first games several times throughout growing up. However Sonic never became a favorite character. I always liked Knuckles or Tails better. I just thought they were cooler than Sonic.
