Holy crap Pixlbits. Those of you who have not yet invested in some of the HD collections available for the PS3 are in for a treat tomorrow. I'll just give you what I think are the highlights and you can link for the rest. As usual big discounts for PS+ members, in fact your subscription could wind up paying for itself in one fell swoop of spending.

I still prefer physical to digital but $14.69 is hard to resist. Except for the Sly collection which I picked up for $10 on some flash sale at EB.

Here we go:

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Reg. $39.99, Sale $27.99, PS+ $19.59

Sly HD Collection Reg. $29.99, Sale $20.99 PS+ $14.69

Also Sly Thieves in Time Reg. $39.99, Sale $27.99 PS+ $19.59

Bunch of LBP stuff I already own.

Devil May Cry HD Collection Reg. $29.99, Sale 20.99, PS+ $14.69

GoW collection $29.99, Sale $20.99, PS+ $14.69

GoW Origins Collection $19.99, Sale $13.99, PS+ $9.79

Ratchet and Clank Collection $29.99, Sale $20.99, PS+ $14.69

Now if you'll excuse me it's time to top up my wallet. :)

More reasons to buy a PS3, yet no more income for me. Man, I want that Sly HD Collection.

Those are some good deals.  PSN+ users have great deals.  Still, for a few dollars more, you can get physical copies for some of those games.  It's sad that the digital games are equal to or more than the physical versions.  A brand new physical version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is $29.99 at GameStop.  I would buy that, but I think I'll hold out for that ultimate collection that suppose to be coming.  That GoW Origins Collection is calling me though. Cool

damn, $13 for the Vita version of Thieves in Time?  Oh wait, I don't have a Vita.  Tongue Out

Looks like a solid list, but nothing really for me. Having a year sub to PS+ does pay for itself because with the deals on games, plus the freebie games, there is a lot of content to play. Even if you just stick to the freebie games, there is a lot to play

It burns me that I had to make a choice in which console to buy this Gen, I don't regret going 360 in the slightest but I do feel I ve missed out on some absolute classics, namely GoW and MGS. I have however just recently downloaded both God or War titles on my PSP and I am still being blown away by the visuals these games peddle! Does the GoW collection include these two installments with a HD touch? if so I'm increasingly jealouse!

I would rather have the physical copies, the exception being Okami simply because the digital is the only option. I'm just old school like that plus I only have about 26 gigs left on my hardrive so I'm trying to conserve. I know that is a lot of space, but I don't have too many downloaded games and the the only thing fully installed is Gran Tourismo 5. Yet my space has been slowly been gobbled up by updates and little chunks of dlc. I am very seriously considering the God of War special addtion PS3 with the 500 gig hard drive. I don't even realy like GoW that much or care that its red, but with that capacity there is no way I could fill it up.

Those are some good deals for those that can get 'em. Curse my limited budget!!!

My budget is crap too. But 14.69 is too hard to resist. I may let it go  but it is tempting.

Such amazing prices on those. I already own a lot of them. Even though I now have a 500 gig PS3 I get all squirelly about using space in there. Had a bad experience when my last one died and I lost stuff. But I do plan on getting a membership card for PS+ in the near future.

Every day I am face with the possibility that my launch PS3 will die. It used to be a 60 GB and now it's a 750. Last week the video and audio would sporadically stop and start and I started to panic. I removed the HDMI switch box and connected it directly to my TV's lone HDMI port and it seems to have gone away. *knocks on wood*

Does anybody know if the PSN downloads of the PS3 versions of Playstation All-Stars and Sly Cooper-Thieves in Time come with the vita versions also?  I know the retail versions do, but I don't see anything on the PSN about it.  In the description of the game where it talks about cross-play, it vaguely says you MAY have to purchase them seperately.

They are both at a really good price now, but if they don't come with the Vita versions I'll just wait for the retail versions to come down a little more.

I might buy the PS3 version of Thieves this weekend so I'll let you know.

Thanks for the reply.  I went ahead and purchased all-stars to see what happens, and it allowed me to download both the PS3 and Vita version.  So I got Thieves in TIme also and it also let me get both versions. Great prices!  I just wish the descriptions on the PSN made it clearer that I was getting both versions for the price of one.  They almost lost the sale because of it!

Excellent news. I don't have a Vita yet but when I do I won't have to worry about having games to play. I just need a 32 Gig card.

I couldn't help but pick up All Stars after I saw this sale. So many things are unlocking for me. Almost after every battle when you begin. Pretty cool.
