I just realized i still haven't played Destiny 2 by myself or with Blake. I need to get on that.

But today I'm thinking I need to update my profile on the Texas workforce commission site (I have until October 2, but I had until October 9 to attend the training I was at yesterday; waiting to do shit I can do now stops being part of my personality when I'm tired of being tired) and go back there to drop off an application for WIOA I didn't realize I brought back with me. WIOA is something you sign up for to be given free certification trainings at local area schools, which I was thinking of paying for anyway.

In gaming news, I got a review code from Nick for My Brother Rabbit on Steam. So far, it's a cute dialogue-free story, and some puzzles have been fun, but I am getting tired of clicking on EVERYTHING. The last point and click I played was I think called Tormentum(?) and had more puzzles than clicking, which I really liked. I remember it being fairly short and hope this is too, since I'm still on the first 3-4 screens. One thing My Brother Rabbit has going for it is they tell you if an item you need is in a room or not, which can save some time, although I expect you need other items to get those items ... Yeah, I'm going to want to stop clicking soon.

In reading news, I need to finish Calypso by David Sedaris for my non-fiction book club by tomorrow, meaning I'll likely read all 260-ish pages today. It looks to be a light and funny read ( read the first 10-ish pages before passing out last night, so it shouldn't be too bad.)

In TV news, I'm still trying to work my way through luke cage s2 after finishing bojack horseman s5. Then I plan to imbibe some of this sweet Netflix animation like Castlevania s2, that show the Avatar people worked on, and I think I'm forgetting some. And Iron Fist s2,  which I thought S1 was actually pretty fun because of the white collar crime portions and I like his girlfriend, even if he and The Hand kinda bored me at times. That's right. I enjoyed Iron Fist s1. Sue me.

In health news, I've eaten nothing but candy and bullshit lately, but have lost weight anyway cause of how little ive eaten generally. I finally went for a run yesterday, though I only got in two running miles as opposed to my standard 3. At least I went 10000+ steps total.

Other than that, I am still working through God of War and want to play Tomb Raider next. Hoping to hit the gym when it opens for some strength training.

Toodles for now, Pixlbitches.

I got a review code for My Brother Rabbit, too!  Except I'll be reviewing it on PS4.

Ah cool. It'll be interesting to see how it's different from playing with a mouse.

Point and clicks tend to be either really good or really bad. Most of them fall into the latter, unfortunately, and this comes from someone who really likes the genre.

David Sedaris is hilarious. I'll have to check that book out.

OMG! Someone else who liked Iron Fist! I was feeling really lonely, lol. The Dragon Prince is really good (the one by the Avatar people). Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long for the next season.

The one I'm playing now has a potentially heartwarming story and adorable art direction, but oh my God. WHERE HAVE I NOT CLICKED?!

Calypso's funny so far. Too bad my shit day prevented me from reading it.

Welcome to the Iron Fist fan club and/or anonymous meeting.

I really need to watch The Dragon Prince. My only complaint about the trailer would be that I don't always love the CGI in those shows, but I can overlook it for the well-done storytelling and otherwise fantastic animation.

I got to look into free classes for the unemployed in my area. I think PA has a program I didn't know existed.

I ate some McDonalds the last two days for lunch and surprisingly, I'm feeling a bit better. I think my low sodium diet was causing my back spasms. It doesn't mean I'm eating there all the time now though. No way.

The WIOA thing I was told about is, I believe, a federal program.

I've never understood why people think McDonald's is more gross than other fast food joints. Gross, sure, but for the price ... ok, Wendy's is a lot more fresh, has a great dollar menu, and leaves me feeling less sad, but I was going somewhere with this.

I'm looking into the WIOA thing. Thanks.

They're all the same, but I was happy to get lunch for myself and my friend for $10. Can't beat that. But the calories and the salt are incredible. I'm sticking to my Dr. Fuhrman diet but I'm added some electroyte drinks. Maybe that'll do the trick. I'm not making a habit out of fast food.
