Woa! IGN nuked their blogs? Is everything really just Twitter and Instagram now? I just can't get into those. Too many posts drive me nuts.
Anyway, looking forward to Octoberween again this year.

It’s time to sin once more!
Here we are once again to enjoy another month of Halloween freight and scares. I have been waiting for so long for this month to arrive. Honestly it gets harder and harder to be able to enjoy October where I live. Despite my best attempts to welcome the fall season in, it’s rather hard given that the weather where I live will still remain in the mid-summer temperature range. The only time I can expect anything spooky is when it gets dark and if I’m luck a rain storm comes by.
But despite this I don’t plan on letting that get in the way of my Octoberween 2018 celebrations. As before I’ll find myself diving head deep into all things Halloween and like years prior I’ll be sharing it with you all if only possibly share some hidden gem of interest or entertainment. Once again I’ll dig deep into my bag of tricks to find some choice items in media that might quip one’s fancy. From gaming to movies to TV shows to other odd topics that fit the Octoberween season I’ll be sure to share.
I still plan to stick to my new format when it comes to video games with my Top 5 picks for Octoberween Gaming in 2018. I’ll also dive in more with my Octoberween Video Weekend series, which is the funniest (and easiest) items to post in a blog format. I’ve found some more interesting videos to share that I hope not many are aware of. I’ll also blog about some Octoberween topcis that may be of some interest. Some of them will be editorial style blogs and perhaps one that reads more of an obituary.
You don’t know how bad I’ve needed this month. So much is keeping me from fully enjoying the season but with a little help, and a lot of motivation, I hope to delivery some decent content over this month that may fit anyone’s interests. So dust off that Halloween costume, break out the scary movies and survival horror videogames. Get ready to enjoy some Halloween candy and enjoy some of the most interesting subjects to be put to webpage or webvideo. NSonic79 is back and I’m not letting IGN’s blog section being nuked to keep me from enjoying a slowly dying pastime.
Sleep well tonight.

Honestly, I tried Twitter and couldn't deal with it on my phone. Posts clog it up like crazy. Who makes sense of that stuff? I have no interest in quick, casual posts about games either. It makes it feel even less meaningful. I would just lose interest right away.
I got my scary gaming started early this year with Alan Wake, a game I bought nearly six years ago with the intention of playing immediately. I'm only halfway through so there is plenty left for Octoberween and who knows, maybe I'll have time for more.
Bring on the blogs!
