the other day I had finished up Iconoclasts, and already was planning on playing Timespinner next.  I started it yesterday, and somehow finished it today.  Here are some of my thoughts.

This game is a love letter to SotN and all the other Iga-vania games.
Thankfully Timespinner pulls from more than just SotN.  The weapon system is akin to Order of Ecclesia.
There are a handful of side quests that lead to some neat stories.
I rolled credits in 7.5 hours, which flew by...  I am tempted to jump right back in for NG+ though.
There are a couple LGBT characters in the game.
Sadly, I have no comment on the music.  I played with music on in the background because my daughter was around...  she is going to be ONE next week, holy crap.
The dialogue never got in the way of me playing the game, but there is plenty of story within the game.  He just made most of it collectibles.

I think the game is phenomenal and I had a blast playing it.  I highly recommend it.  Especially if you prefer the Castlevania side of a Metroidvania.  If it comes to Switch, I will probably buy it again to play it a second, possibly third time.

I am not sure what Indie/handheld game i am going to play next.  My current focus is to finish up The Evil Within 2...   which I am so close.  Bethesda publishes all my favorite games these days...  at least in 2016/2017.

I was just thinking today, what developer is Microsoft going to buy next, Bethesda maybe?

Sounds fun but I'd like to play SotN via PSN first.

I never got into the later castlevanias but i should. I love the retro revolution of the past ten years or so.
