I bought my "gaming laptop" in order to run the Adobe Suite and since it's actually led to a job, I think it was worth it. But if it's only for gaming, I'd ask how many you think are worth dropping that kind of money to play again.
Now I want soup.

Well good morning Pixlpeeps! This is currently the third version of this entry because each of the previous two times I’ve tried to write this, I get to the end and I either lose interest or I didn’t like it, so here we are. It is a really nice 64° degrees outside so I took the travel laptop outside
That’s my setup! Ok so let’s recap what I played and what I did gaming wise for the past week
Chris Plays…
NCAA Football - PS3
I started a new Dynasty with Duke because I was getting tired of the Carolina blue of UNC, and I wanted to stay in the state, plus why not build basketball power Duke into a football dynasty? My pass happy offense fits with the Devils because they have a somewhat mobile QB, but his passes are not as strong so I have more interceptions than I like. Recruiting will fix this, as well not rushing passes or trying to be a gunslinger.
Need For Speed: Payback - PS4
I finished off the first group of racers and now I unlocked a second group and I’m upgrading cars and making sure I have a good shot at beating the competition. I’m a little behind in the requirements for offroad racing but that just means I’m in an actual race instead of beating the AI by 3-4 seconds.
Shaq-Fu - Switch
I started a new game save because it has been awhile since I’ve played this game and I finished the first two (of six) levels and well it’s basically the same thing throughout the game. Fight people, build up your power, take out even more people, listen to the jokes, heal Shaq, rinse, repeat. I’m skipping the cut scenes because I really don’t care about the story but I did get a good laugh out of Shaq when he saw the entrance of Chinatown and said “Why is there a Chinatown in China?” I should finish this game soon but we shall see.
Other Gaming Stuff
I took an old 1TB external 2.5” drive, connected it to my PS4 and then spent an hour moving 10 game installs from the PS4 to the new drive. Afterwards I then installed three more games to it including Titan Fall 2 that I bought last year and never opened. I’ll still do my usual routine of uninstalling a game after I finish it but at least I won’t have to worry about space.
On Monday while on a soup run (Sprouts has broccoli and cheese soup) for lunch I stopped by Best Buy to browse the “latest” laptops and after checking out the goodies I’m beginning to question if I need a gaming laptop or should I just go with a smaller laptop. I mean I do have a library of Steam/Origin/GOG/whatever I missed games but I also like the idea of having a thin 13.3” laptop. Heck I like typing on this little laptop right now. I do like the real estate of having a 15” laptop but being able to toss everything in a bag, and now having it feel like it weighs a ton is a plus. We shall see.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I want some waffles for breakfast. Have a good week!
That’s all for now, more later!

Ha I learned from the time I was able to add a hard drive to the old PS2. After that I only kept stuff I was going to watch and play on the drive. After that it just stuck.
That's the way to do it. My travel laptop weighs next to nothing, and when I go on flights it doesn't take up a lot of space on the little tables and has solid battery.
